Ferrari's Schumacher takes advantage of misfortunes of Williams' Ralf Schumacher (bad tires) and Mclaren's David Coulthard (10-second pit penalty), to capture his 6th race of the season, extending his lead over Coulthard to 31 points.

Ferrari teammate Rubens Barrichello captures 3rd place after the Schumacher's, helping Ferrari to extends it constructor's lead to 52 points.
