Leftwich throws for 221 yards and 1 TD, while running for another as Marshall dominates the 2nd half of a badly undisciplined contest that has a combined 25 accept penalties and 190 penalty yards.

Leftwich gets the Herd in front early with a 77-yard TD pass to Darius Watts. But Cincinnati takes a 14-9 lead into halftime after DeMarco McCleskey's 2nd TD run. Leftwich's 1-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter puts Marshall ahead again, and Butchie Wallace adds a 4-yard TD extending the lead to 22-14.
