Maryland, which beat West Virginia 34-7 in a regular season matchup, repeats the beating. Scott McBrien throws for 381 yards and 3 TDs and runs for another. Maryland opens up a 31-0 lead before Rasheed Marshall gets the Mountaineers on the board with a 15-yard TD in the 3rd quarter.

The Terps land a series of big plays in the 1st half turning the game into a rout. McBrien hits Jafar Williams with a 31-yard TD on the final play of the 1st quarter opening a 10-0 lead. Steve Suter extends it with a 76-yard punt return for a score, and then McBrien hooks up with Williams on a 22-yard TD pass.
