Yellow Jackets bully the Golden Hurricane in 52-10 beating.

P.J. Daniels runs for 4 TDs and a Georgia Tech-bowl record 307 yards, 2nd most in any game by Yellow Jacket. Meanwhile, Georgia Tech's defense dominates Tulsa, holding the Hurricane to just 20 yards in the 1st half despite managing just a 10-3 lead.

However, the Yellow Jackets break things open in the 2nd half. Daniels adds his 2nd TD run on a 1-yarder, and then Tech converts 1 of 6 turnovers into a 2-yard TD run by Chris Woods for a 24-3 lead. Daniels then scores from a distance, breaking loose for TD runs of 33 and 38 yards to give Tech a 38-3 lead early in the 4th quarter.
