#14 Hurricanes rebound by squeeking past the Orangemen 17-10.

Miami snaps a 2-game losing streak despite a struggling offense thanks to a stout defense. The Hurricanes hold Syracuse to just 192 yards offense, helping to overcome 3 turnovers. Derrick Crudup replaces Brock Berlin as the starting QB, but fails to provide a spark.

Crudup does hit Ryan Moore with a 45-yard TD pass to take a 7-3 lead in the 1st quarter, but goes just 5-of-13 for 80 yards, and the Orangemen take the lead on Walter Reyes' 1-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter and maintain the lead into the 4th quarter.

However, Tyrone Moss does provide forward motion for the offense, rushing for 91 yards. A 16-play drive is capped by Jon Peattie's 44-yard FG, tying it 10-10 in the 4th quarter. Then Moss gives Miami the lead with a 9-yard TD run w/ 8:08 remaining.
