West Virginia records its biggest upset in school history, knocking down previously-undefeated Virginia Tech behind Quincy Wilson and Kay-Jay Harris, who combine for 255 yards and 2 TDs rushing. Wilson leads the way with 178 yards on 33 carries.

Harris gets the Mountaineers on the board with a 7-yard TD run and then Wilson adds a 5-yard TD run in the 1st quarter. The Hokies get brief hope when Vincent Fuller returns a fumble 50 yards for a TD just before halftime. However, West Virginia re-establishes control quickly in the 2nd half when Rasheed Marshall connects with Travis Garvin on a 93-yard TD pass. Marshall adds a 4-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter.
