Game Notes

Paul Pinegar, Bulldogs keep coming back, eventually beating the #18 Cavaliers 37-34 in OT.

Pinegar throws for 5 TDs, including a 3-yarder to Jaron Fairman w/ :19 left, completing an 83-yard drive following Wali Lundy's 20-yard TD run that gave Virginia a 31-24 lead.

Pinegar then connects with Stephen Spach on Fresno State's 1st play of OT, after Virginia kicked a field goal on its possession. Pinegar finishes with 235 yards passing. Wendell Mathis runs for 122 yards for the Bulldogs, with Bryson Sumlin adding 94 yards.

The Cavaliers are without Alvin Pearman for much of the game due to injury. Pearman runs for 52 yards on 9 carries and 1 TD before leaving.
