Charlie Whitehurst comes out firing, throwing for 100 yards and 1 TD on Clemson's 1st 2 possessions as the Tigers open a 14-0 lead. FSU ties it by halftime on a pair of FGs and a blocked punt for a TD. However, the Noles' passing game stalls as Drew Weatherford and Xavier Lee are a combined 13-of-34 and 2 INTs.

Whitehurst has no such problems, going 21-of-32 for 269 yards and 3 TDs. Chansi Stuckey catches 11 for 156 yards and 2 TDs. James Davis has a pair of TD runs.
