#13 Hurricanes ride rollercoaster to 36-30 win over the #20 Tigers in 3 OTs.

Clemson jumps to 10-3 lead in the second quarter as Miami is horrible early. Hurricanes bumble committing 14 penalties for 117 yards, but Miami steadies itself, building a 20-10 lead early in the 4th quarter on the 1st of 3 TD runs by Tyrone Moss.

Then with victory in hand, Miami gags away the lead. Charlie Whitehurst, who throws for 288 yards and 2 TDs, also scores on a 1-yard run, and Cory Groover's 2nd field goal, with :15 left, sends it to overtime.

Moss, who runs for 139 yards, starts the OT with a TD run, but Whitehurst matches it with a 6-yard TD pass to Curtis Baham. Both teams trade FGs in the 2nd OT.

Moss starts the 3rd OT with a 25-yard TD run on the 1st play. Then true freshman Kenny Phillips intercepts Whitehurst to end it.
