After struggling to a 6-3 halftime lead, Virginia Tech puts away North Carolina in the 3rd quarter. Cedric Humes runs for a pair of TDs and Brandon Ore adds a 3rd rushing TD to open a 27-3 lead.

Humes finishes with 134 yards rushing, while Ore adds 104 yards. Meanwhile, the Hokies' defense controls the Tar Heels, holding them to 196 yards.
