Miami gives up a 90-yard TD pass, the longest in team history, and allows 407 yards. However, Kyle Wright and Charlie Jones keep the Canes afloat.

After Virginia takes a 10-3 lead on the strength of a 90-yard Emmanuel Byers-to-Deyon Williams TD pass, Jones gets into the end zone on a 4-yard TD run. Then Wright connects with Sinorice Moss on a 16-yard TD pass w/ :50 left in the half to put Miami up 15-10.

Wright goes 23-of-30 for 248 yards and 1 TD, and helps with a 31-yard run that sets up Jones' 2nd TD that gives Miami a 25-10 lead. Jones runs for 88 yards. Williams stars for Virginia with 6 catches for 152 yards and 2 TDs.
