Despite being outplayed early, Florida State stays in the game in unconventional fashion, returning a PAT for 2 points, and a blocked FG for a TD. Joe Surratt's 2-yard TD run, and Drew Weatherford's pass to Chris Davis for 2 points, ties it 20-20 early in the 4th quarter.

However, Clemson's James Davis carries the Tigers to victory. Davis breaks free for a 47-yard run to the FSU 4, gaining 67 yards on Clemson's 85-yard game winning drive. Davis caps it with a 1-yard TD w/ :08 left in the game.

Davis finishes with 87 yards rushing while Will Proctor throws for 194 yards and 1 TD, and the Tigers' defense holds the Seminoles to just 204 yards offense.
