Johnson catches 6 for 165 yards and 2 TDs, accounting for almost half of Georgia Tech's 335 yards. Reggie Ball gives the Jackets a first quarter lead with a 6-yard run, and extends the lead to 17-0 with a 58-yard TD pass to Johnson just before halftime. Ball and Johnson hook up for a 66-yard TD pass early in the 3rd quarter to slam the door on the punchless Cavaliers.

Virginia manages just 166 total yards, while turning it over 3 times. Ball goes 10-of-19 for 205 yards and 2 TDs for Georgia Tech.
