Golden Eagles rally for a 30-27 win over the Trojans in OT.

Southern Miss erases a 27-17 deficit in the 4th quarter to force OT, and then wins it on Britt Barefoot's 39-yard FG. Barefoot tied it with a 46-yarder w/ 2:50 left in regulation. Austin Davis's 35-yard TD pass to Jonathan Massey midway through the 4th quarter starts the rally.

Davis throws for 276 yards and 2 TDs. Troy State had gone ahead in the 3rd quarter with a 34-yard FG by Sam Glusman and Jerrel Jernigan's 6-yard TD run to take a 27-17 lead.
