Boston College opens a 31-7 lead on the strength of 3 TD passes by Doug Flutie, then uses a potent running game to hold off the Cougars in the 2nd half. Houston cuts the lead to 31-28 on Aundray McMillian's 26-yard TD return of an INT of Flutie.

But Steve Strachan scores his 2nd TD run, and then Troy Stradford adds an 18-yard TD run. Stradford rushes for 196 yards, and adds a TD catch. Strachan runs for 91 yards.
