#6 Hurricanes scorch the Sun Devils 47-10.

Frank Costa goes 15-of-27 for 298 yards and 4 TDs as Miami rolls in the desert for a change. The Hurricanes capitalize on early mistakes, opening a 19-3 lead less than 7 minutes into the game. Costa hits Jammi German on a screen pass turned into a 56-yard TD, then James Stewart follows with a 9-yard TD run. After Arizona State fumbles the ensuing kickoff, Costa hits Chris T. Jones for a 10-yard TD pass.

After yielding a pair of safeties, Miami starts the 2nd quarter with a 53-yard TD pass from Costa to Jonathan Harris. James Stewart's 1-yard TD gives the Canes a 33-10 lead w/ 1:33 left in the 1st half. Costa and German combine on the knockout blow, a 30-yard TD pass for a 40-10 lead w/ 8:41 remaining in the 3rd.
