After a slow start, Broncos roll over the Cardinals for a 38-17 win.

Arizona goes up 10-0 following Thomas Jones' 1-yard TD run early in the 2nd quarter. But then Denver scores 38 unanswered points to rout the Cardinals. Jason Elam hits 3 FGs in the 2nd quarter, and then Brian Griese hits Rod Smith with a 10-yard TD pass, and Dwayne Carswell with a 2-point conversion to give the Broncos a 17-10 lead at the half.

Griese finishes 22-of-31 for 242 yards and 3 TDs, with Smith catches 14 passes for 162 yards and 2 TDs. Griese and Smith combine on a 34-yard TD pass opening the Denver lead to 24-10 in the 3rd quarter.
