Miami forces 4 turnovers, benefits from the loss of Giants' kicker Matt Bryant for the 2nd half, and delivers enough ball control offense in the 4th quarter to put the game away. New York outgains Miami 350-to-285, but Kerry Collins tosses 3 turnovers, and when Jeff Feagles is forced to replace Bryant, who was injured hitting a 43-yard FG on the final play off the 1st half, he misses a short FG attempt that would have tied it 13-13.

Olindo Mare then hits a 48-yard FG attempt, capping an 11-play drive that eats up 6:30, and then Ricky Williams scores on a 1-yard run finishing a 12-play drive that uses up 6:59. Patrick Surtain picks Collins twice.
