Favre chooses to play, and shines, throwing for 311 yards and 4 TDs in the 1st half. He finishes with 399 yards.

Favre finds Wesley Walls for a 22-yard TD pass and then Javon Walker on a 23-yarder. After Charlie Garner gives Oakland hope with a 25-yard TD run, Ryan Longwell extends the lead to 17-7 with a 31-yard FG. Then Favre strikes again, hitting Walker on a 43-yard TD pass followed by a 6-yarder to David Martin just before halftime.
