San Francisco breaks the game open in the 3rd quarter. After Jerome Bettis' 1-yard TD run pulls Pittsburgh within 10-7, the 49ers score 14 points in a 14-second span to take a 24-7 lead. Barlow scores on a 76-yard run, and then 1 play after Sean Moran recovers a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, Rattay connects with Fred Beasley for a 28-yard TD pass.
