Byron Leftwich throws for a pair of TDs, and Jacksonville's defense stops Chicago's staggering offense. Leftwich hits Reggie Williams with a 6-yard TD in the first quarter and the Jags gradually open a 13-3 lead heading into the 4th quarter.

Jacksonville puts the game away when Daryl Smith sacks Chad Hutchinson in the end zone for a safety, and then strikes with a 31-yard TD pass from Leftwich to Jimmy Smith on the ensuing possession. Leftwich finishes 25-of-45 for 242 yards.
