Billy Volek steps in, overcomes a big mistake, and leads Tennessee to a victory in place of Steve McNair. Volek throws for 210 yards and 2 TDs. However, his 3rd quarter INT is returned 51 yards for a TD by Madieu Williams helping Cincinnati rally from a 10-point deficit to forge a 13-13 tie later in the 3rd quarter.

Volek responds, tossing a 13-yard TD to Troy Fleming. Chris Brown carries 32 times for 147 yards, and a 1-yard TD that extends Tennessee's lead to 27-13.
