Game Notes

Colts finally get by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, beating the Patriots 40-21.

Peyton Manning goes 28-of-37 for 321 yards and 3 TDs as Indianapolis' "triplets" come up big. Edgerrin James runs for 104 yards and 1 TD, and Marvin Harrison has 128 yards and 2 TDs on 9 catches.

James scores on a 2-yard run early in the 2nd quarter, then Manning hits Reggie Wayne for a 10-yard TD w/ :09 left in the 1st half, allowing the Colts to grab control with a 21-7 lead. Wayne has 9 catches for 124 yards. Dominic Rhodes 4-yard TD in the mid 3rd quarter puts the Colts in a position to end New England's domination of them.

Brady tries to answer with 265 yards and 3 TDs, but New England can't run and can't close the gap once Indianapolis grabs the lead.
