Rams beat the Jaguars 24-21 in a battle of big plays.

St. Louis gets 2 key plays out of the special teams, a 41-yard FG from Jeff Wilkins that provides the margin of victory, and a 29-yard return for a TD by Brandon Chillar.

After Chillar's return, Jacksonville responds with a 71-yard TD run by Fred Taylor. But the Rams come right back with an 83-yard TD pass from Jamie Martin to Kevin Curtis for a 14-7 lead just 4:06 into the game.

Taylor finishes with 165 yards rushing, while Ernest Wilford adds 145 yards and 1 TD on 6 catches for the Jaguars. St. Louis counters with Curtis' 105 yards on 3 catches, and Steven Jackson who runs for 179 yards and adds 21 more on 2 receptions.
