Steelers edge the Chargers 24-22 in a classic 4th quarter.

The Steelers take a 14-0 lead in the second quarter on TD runs by Ben Roethlisberger and Jerome Bettis, but San Diego gets an 11-yard Drew Brees-to-Antonio Gates TD w/ just :34 left in the first half.

Pittsburgh's defense stops several San Diego drives, but the Chargers settle for FGs, finally taking the lead 16-14 w/ 11:41 left in the game. The Steelers immediately respond with a Roethlisberger-to-Heath Miller 16-yard TD, retaking the lead 21-16.

San Diego's next possession ends in a 2-yard TD by LaDanian Tomlinson, but Tomlinson's run for a 2-point attempt is stopped leaving the Chargers up 22-21 w/ 4:42 remaining. San Diego's defense can't hold on, though Pittsburgh takes the ball, and runs the clock all the way down to :06 before Jeff Reed's 40-yard FG to win it.
