Pittsburgh does enough, while Minnesota does just about everything wrong. Vikings put the ball on the ground 3 times, Brad Johnson throws 2 picks and Minnesota commits 13 penalties while the Steelers have the ball more than 36 minutes. The Vikings manage just 185 yards offense.

Pittsburgh leads 3-0, but Minnesota has a chance to take the lead after a turnover gives the Vikings the ball inside the 10, but they gain just 1 yard and settle for a 20-yard FG by Paul Edinger.

Antwaan Randle-El's 72-yard punt return sets up a 3-yard TD run by Ben Roethlisberger for the game's only TD.
