Game Notes

Bills rally to beat the Packers 19-12.

Buffalo shuts out Green Bay in the 2nd half, tying the game in the 3rd quarter, then going ahead late. The Bills trail 12-6 at halftime, but draw even when Nick Mike-Mayer boots 2 of his 4 FGs, in the 3rd quarter.

Three INTs are big for Buffalo. Jeff Nixon's pick of David Whitehurst deep in Bills' territory sets up the go-ahead drive, with Mike Collier scoring on a 1-yard run w/ 3:04 left in the game, then Mario Clark and Charles Romes stop Green Bay's final 2 possessions with INTs.

The Bills led 6-3 in the 1st half when Mike-Mayer boots a 34-yard FG following a 75-yard run by Terry Miller. The Packers answer with Whitehurst's 33-yard TD pass to James Lofton, and then a 32-yard FG by Tom Birney.
