Seattle goes away from its passing attack as Dave Krieg attempts just 10 passes, while rushing for 205 pounding yards without star Curt Warner. Dan Doornink becomes the star leading the way with 126 yards. Meanwhile, Seattle sacks Jim Plunkett 6 times, and forces 3 turnovers.

The Seahawks break on top with a 26-yard TD pass from Krieg to Daryl Turner late in the 1st half. Norm Johnson extends it to 13-0 with FGs of 35 and 44 yards in the 2nd half. Los Angeles doesn't get on the board until Plunkett's 46-yard TD hookup with Marcus Allen in the 4th quarter.
