Opens early in the morning at Dib's house. Dib is sitting on the couch watching TV and eating cereal. Gaz is sitting beside him eating toast and playing her Game Slave. "And this just in…" said the TV weatherman, "Today's a snow day! That's right, kids! Put away your books cause a huge blizzard came last night! Go ahead and look out your window if you don't believe me!" Dib turned and looked at the window, but the sun was just starting to come up, so he couldn't see anything.
"Wow Gaz! No skool!" said Dib.
"What if he's tricking us again? Remember last year?" Gaz asked.
Flashback to one year ago: "…Go ahead and look out the window if you don't believe me!" continued the weatherman.
"Hurray! No skool!" yelled Dib. He jumped off the couch and ran outside in his boxers. "Yeah! Snow day! No skool!" He shouted. He opens his eyes to see no snow on the ground. The bus passes by and all the kids point and laugh at him.
"What a loser!"
"Look, he's in his underwear!" Dib blushes and runs to the door where Gaz stands, laughing at him. She had her backpack on.
Goes back to present time. "You're right Gaz! He's trying to trick us again!" Dib runs and gets his backpack. He runs outside and shouts, "I'm ready for school!" He opens his eyes to see a few feet of snow on the ground. The kids around point and laugh again.
"He thinks it's skool day!"
"What a loser!" Dib blushes again and runs to the door, where once again, Gaz is standing laughing at him. She somehow had her snowsuit on. Dib runs inside to change.
It's last year backwards!" Gaz shouted after him.
At Zim's house Zim is preparing to skool, too. "Please Master, lemme go to skool!" GIR whined. GIR was clinging to Zim's leg, getting dragged as he walked.
"No GIR!" he yelled shaking GIR off his leg.
"Why?"
"Because it would raise suspicion if I brought a walking, talking green dog to skool!" He walks outside and gasps at the sight of the snow. "What is this horrible white stuff?!" He asked. He decided not to worry about it and continued to walk to skool. Along the way he notices lots of kids playing in the white stuff. When he gets to skool, no ones there. Zim stands there wondering what's going on, when a snowball hits him- hits him hard. He falls to the ground.
"Hahahaha!" Dib laughed. "Did you enjoy your first snowball?" Zim just glares back at him. "Don't bother going to skool; it's a snow day- no skool!" continued Dib. Then he runs off laughing.
"Snowball?" Zim asked himself. He held out the remainder of Dib's snowball in his hand. "Seems harmless enough." The snow started to melt against his warm body. Water ran down his arm and he started smoking and burning. He screamed and rolled on the ground. "It seems to be some sort of…hardened water…ball…thingie." He said, after he was done rolling in pain. He started thinking, and an evil grin stretched across his face.
Despite this morning's incident, Dib was quite happy. He walked with a smile on his face, knowing he had make fun of Zim and put him in pain. Gaz walking beside him, playing her Game Slave, as always. "What are you so happy about?" she asked him.
"Let's just say the earth is a little bit safer, thanks to me." Gaz rolled her eyes, knowing he would continue. "Some one has to protect earth-" A snowball hit him in the face and cut him off. Dib looked around and saw Zim laughing at him.
"Puny earth monkey!" He said and continued laughing.
"Hey Zim?" Zim looked up. "Think fast!" Dib shouted. Once again, Zim was hit with a snowball and it was Dib's turn to laugh.
"Let's settle this like real snowball fighters." Zim said. "You and me, tomorrow, right here. It will be the ultimate snowball fight."
"OK. But not here. Up there, on Falldown Hill." He points to a very large hill. It was much longer on two sides and the short sides were jagged, like natural stairs. You can guess how it got its name. "Whoever falls off, loses."
"OK." They shook hands and went off to get ready.
The next day, Dib slowly climbs up the natural stairs to the top of Falldown Hill. He drags behind him a strange looking machine. The base looked like one of those machines that shoot tennis balls automatically. He also used some things that were around his house to make his masterpiece. When he finally reached the top, he stopped to catch his breath. Then he looked around. There was no sign of Zim. Dib smiled. Maybe he forfeited. Dib's smile was wiped clean off his face the second he saw Zim and his machine. Zim's machine was huge. Much more advanced technology was used in its craftsmanship. Like usual, Zim was smiling evilly.
Dib knew Zim's machine was better, but he had the home team advantage. After all, this was Zim's first experience with snow. Dib pushed a button on his machine and a shovel attached to his it scooped up some snow. "I'll prove Zim's an alien! Watch this!" He shouted to the observing crowd. "Take a slushball, Zim!" A very wet, slushy snowball was hurled at Zim and hit him in the face. Dib expected to see Zim burn from the water, but he didn't. Zim had cleverly remembered to bathe in paste before the fight. Zim pushed a button and all of a sudden snowballs were being hurled through the air from both competitors. The crowd watched in horror. For unknown reasons, they stopped. Zim and Dib stood in the worst possible positions, right in front of the drop-offs. If either got hit, they'd fall. And lose.
"Prepare to lose, Dib!" Zim shouted. His machine revved and Dib tried to step back, only to realize he was already at the edge. "I call this my 'Snowman of Doom'!" A large snowman was shot at Dib. In an instant, Dib was falling down the incredibly steep hill. His machine and the snowman bumped into him on the way down. He crashed at the bottom with a hard blow. Dib sighed. He could here Zim laughing at the top of the hill. Dib had lost.
Once again, Dib and Gaz sit on the couch, eating breakfast, watching TV. "…and this just in, kids." Said the TV weatherman, "Skool's canceled again! Not for snow, though. That melted last night and turned into…a flood! That's right, were flooded. So no skool!"
"Wow Gaz! A flood!" Dib said excitedly. She just rolled her eyes. He ran off and returned wearing swim trunks, goggles, and flippers on his feet. Dib walked outside and yelled "Yeah! It's a flood day! No skool!" He opened his eyes to see the snow still there. The kids once again, pointed and laughed.
"What a loser!"
"He thinks it's a flood day!" they shouted. Dib blushed again and ran towards the door. Gaz was standing there for the third time laughing. She once again was dressed appropriately with her snowsuit on. She and the kids just stood there laughing. Back
