Al Snow if you'r talking about giving the devil his due, then that devil must be Al Snow, lets face it,the man has had nearly as many gimmicks as Ray Traylor and Brutas Beefcake(or is it the Disiple now)?

But only when he went completely psyco did the fans start to really love him.Snow has definitely found his niche in ECW as his pschotic character ranks right up there with the likes of Cactus Jack and Abdullah the Butcher. In a very short time he has reached main event status in ECW.But his gimmick is doing more than just getting him ECW title shots. He is using it to show case his athletic ability.

Long considered to be one of the most underated Wrestlers in the WWF when he was known as Leif Cassidy,Snow never received much credit until he arrived in ECW and went "crazy"but as popular as ECW is among it's hard-core following the majority of Wrestling fans still perceive the outlaw organization as a myth.Fans hear a lot about the outlandish spots, insane gimmicks and out rageously grotesque matches, but they rarely see it.ECW has yet been able to go mainsteam like the WCW and WWF,they're still very much an underground movement.

Unless ECW continues to draw more audiences and crowds(which to some extent it has)the only way for Snow to showcase his abilites further is to jump to one of the big two promotions, but problems loom both ways.If Snow goes to WCW he'll have to tone down the head case gimmick.Ted Turner wants WCW to be less graphically violent and more mainsteam a style which does'nt suit Snows character,a jump to the WWF might bring bad old memories. While the WWF is for the more mature audience, would the fans accept him as Al Snow or remember him more as the bumbling half of the New Rockers,Leif Cassidy?
