How to join the Open24 WebRing

The ring is pictured above (the links are dead...it is just an example). The Open24 WebRing was created on August 5th, 1997. Within the first week it had over 20 pages added. It is for anyone who chat's in Open24. If I gave you the address to join the ring you are oviously an Open24er. If someone else told you about it...we will assume you are a 24er too (even if we have no idea who you are). Tell your friends that you chat with to join our ring too. All they have to do is fill out a request for submission. And then add the ring's code (which will be given to them after submission). And, in a day or two, we will have looked at the site and added it to the ring! Kewl...huh? If the code is not in the site within a certain amount of time after being submitted we might delete your site. A ring is no good if it doesn't keep on going! The Open24 WebRing is open to all people who chat in Open24 (any subject welcome). So we will add any page to the ring! And as long as you put the ring's code on your page somewhere you will stay in the ring. We do check to make sure all pages continue to have the ring's code on their page. we do not want a broken ring. If at anytime you remove the code from your site, you will be move to the queue. We will send you an e-mail notification, and you will have a specified amount of time to add the rings code again. If you do not re-add it you will be permately deleted and must re-submit you page in order to be added again.

Current Events

We are current having a contest for a new logo. We really need a new graphic for our web ring. We want something that's creative and looks great! We are a great ring and we need something that makes us look like we are! We want your help. Your job is to design a new graphic for our ring! It must say Open24 (obviously since that's where we are from). To submit you ideas just e-mail us either at angela@inetport.com or at clearbluesafires@hotmail.com (it makes no difference which one you want to use). Or if you have ICQ you can file transfer it to ClearBlue at 126693 or, Sapphires at 2019086. If you win, your graphic will become the new logo of the Open24 Web Ring. Sorry, we don't have any big trip to give to you (as much as would be nice). But we're not that rich. So....please help us out. We need to be update with a really cool pic!
