ROOM is Dan
Fante's first produced full length play. His novel, Les anges n'ont rien dans les
poches (Angels With Empty Pockets), first published in France in
1996, received wide critical acclaim. France's largest daily
newspaper, Soud-Ouest, called the book "...sublime." His
second novel, Crachant des toits tout haut
(Spitting Off Tall Buildings), will be released in hardcover
this fall. Fante's first American novel,Chump Change,is now available in bookstores
everywhere, published by Sun Dog Press. Fante is the son of the late
novelist/screenwriter John Fante.
