The Teaser

"Batman and Robin to die?? Things certainly are turning the wrong way for them."

The Escape

Batman is able to reach the cutting torch in his utility belt, and uses it to cut through the machine's armature. This short circuits the turbines' power supply. They soon stop spinning, and the caped crusaders make their way out, quite dizzy.

The Escape

Alfred hears a message on the radio concerning Batman while dusting the Batcave, and decides to contact him on the bat-transmitter. Batman asks him to short-circuit the transmitter, and although he is hesitant, Alfred does so. This causes Batman's wristband radio to explode, freeing his arm. Using a device from his utility belt, he then frees himself and Robin.

The Cases

"The Purr-fect Crime" & "Better Luck Next Time"

The Trap

The Dynamic Duo track Catwoman to her hideout where she subsequently toys with them with several traps which turn out to be non-lethal. Just when Batman is losing his cool, a tube descends from the ceiling and sucks Robin away. Batman now has the choice of two doors in front of him. One, he is told will lead to Catwoman; behind the other is a ferocious Batman-eating tiger. Batman opens one door, and the tiger walks out. Meanwhile, Robin is about to be fed to a whole pack of hungry tigers. Robin is tied to a plank which is hanging over a pit containing the big cats. A tube of sand equaling Robin's weight is keeping him out of harm's way, but the tube is opened and as the sand spills out, Robin is slowly descending into the pit!

The Teaser

"Will Batman ever see Robin alive again? Will Robin ever see Batman alive again? Will our daring duo escape the claws of the wily Catwoman?"

The Escape

Using claws of his own from his utility belt, Batman scales the wall getting out of reach of the tiger. Then calling upon his vast storehouse of audio engineering knowledge, he nimbly reverses the polarity on his wrist communicator and increases the modulation to 20,000 decibels knowing it will force the tiger into submission. Batman finds Robin who is almost into the tiger pit by this time. Using a batarang to secure a line, Batman swings down to the plank to release Robin. The two then leap to safety and battle it out with Catwoman's henchmen.

The Cases

"The Penquin Goes Straight" & "Not Yet, He Ain't"

The Trap

Batman and Robin go to the Gotham Amusement Pier, location of a party in Penquin's honour. They are quickly ambushed by Penquin's henchmen and knocked unconscious with a cement umbrella. They are strung up behind the decoys of a shooting gallery. Penquin puts real bullets in the shooting umbrellas and challenges Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara to hit the targets. Both men exclaim the shot will be easy and take aim.

The Teaser

"Batman and Robin a swinging pair of dead ducks? What on Earth can save them? Don't shoot Commissioner, don't shoot!"

The Escape

Just before the shots are fired, Batman and Robin come to and pull themselves up, placing their feet on the back of the tent. Luckily, the Caped Crusaders were wearing their shoes with the bulletproof soles. The resulting shock of the gunshots unjammed Batman's bat-knife with which he cuts his and then Robin's bonds.

The Cases

"The Ring of Wax" & "Give 'Em The Axe"

The Trap

Batman and Robin are tied up and hung over a vat of hot, boiling wax. With a press of a button, the rope begins to descend.

The Teaser

"Infamy of infamies! Can this be the end of our beloved Caped Crusaders? Will Batman wax serious?"

The Escape

Though Riddler wants to watch the Dynamic Duo die, the fumes from the hot wax overwelm he and his cronies and they flee to the basement and watch the ordeal through a periscope. Now that the villains are out the way, the Dynamic Duo can attempt an escape. Batman notices an open barrel of chemicals a short distance away. Though he cannot read the entire formula written on the label, he guesses it is a barrel of solution used in treating candle wicks. If it is indeed that solution, it is extremely explosive when exposed to heat. Batman notices a shaft of sunlight shining through a hole in the ceiling. By shifting his position, he is able to reflect that sunlight off his highly polished belt buckle and direct it into the vat of solution. "Prepare yourself for the shock!" Batman yells to Robin. The resulting explosion blows them clear but knocks them unconcious. Riddler, who doesn't know why the explosion occurred, sees their prone bodies and believes them dead.

The Cases

"The Joker Trumps An Ace" & "Batman Sets The Pace"

The Trap

Capturing Batman and Robin in ropes, Joker uses a ray gun to neutralize their utility belts. He tells them he'll give them a sporting chance. He puts them in a smokestack and if they can stay afloat for an hour, they are free to go. The Dynamic Duo enter and quickly remove their bonds. The door is sealed and thick gas begins to pour in. Aghast, Batman and Robin realize the Joker never said he was using water!

The Teaser

"Is this the Joker's crowning jest?"

The Escape

As the gas closes over their heads, it looks grim for the Caped Crusaders. They soon emerge, however, climbing the wall of the smokestack, back to back, using their feet to climb and each other for support. Once at the top of the stack, they slide down to the ground on a cable.

The Cases

"The Curse of Tut" & "The Pharoah's In A Rut"

The Trap

King Tut's henchmen have kidnapped Bruce Wayne. He's in the back of an ambulance, tied to a gurney. They're driving quickly along a rising, winding Gotham country road and the gurney is sliding around. Bruce uses this momentum and forces the gurney forward with his weight, ejecting the gurney with him on it out the backdoor! Now, he's flying down the road, passing sign which reads "Road Under Construction, 300 ft drop". The gurney crashes through a warning barrier and approaches the cliff!

The Teaser

"Bruce Wayne hurtling toward an awesome abyss. What will be his fate?"

As Bruce rushes through the construction site, he passes underneath a crossbar railing just before the drop-off. Just in time, he breaks his hands free and reaches up, grabbing the bar and stopping himself as the gurney flies over the cliff.

The Cases

"The Bookworm Turns" & "While Gotham City Burns"

The Trap

Batman and Robin go their seperate ways and Robin falls prey to Bookworm. Earlier on, Bookworm sent the Dynamic Duo "For Whom the Bells Tolls" as a clue. Bookworm takes Robin to The Wayne Memorial Clock Tower and ties the Boy Wonder to the clapper of the bell. When the clock strikes midnight, Robin will be smashed to bits. Meanwhile, Batman is on the other side of the city!

The Teaser

"The first minute of the new day. The everlasting end for Robin. Stick merciful cotton in your ears, the death knell sounds tomorrow."

The Escape

A few minutes earlier, Batman in the Batmobile is stopped by Chief O'Hara, who tells the Caped Crusader, Robin was not in the alleyway with the abandoned bookmobile where Batman left him. Alarmed, Batman enters into a trance to "turn his memory back" in order to learn where Bookworm took Robin. He remembers the clue, "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and rushes to the clock tower. Using the bat-zooka, Batman shoots a batarang and cable around the lightening rod at the top of the tower. He shoots another around the hands of the clock. He hooks the cables to the nuclear power source of the Batmobile, both to the positive sides, thereby positively charging the clapper and the bell. And, as Batman knew, positively charged objects repel one another.

The Cases

"Death In Slow Motion" & "The Riddler's False Notion"

The Trap

Robin is taken to a lumber yard and tied to a conveyor belt which leads to a very large, very sharp table saw. Riddler puts Robin to sleep with gas and then hits the on switch. And Batman is nowhere to be seen!

The Teaser

"After many gazzers, here is the real buzzer. Is Robin going to wind up as his own double?"

The Escape

When Riddler took Robin, he left behind two riddles for Batman. Solving these riddles, the Caped Crusader learns where the Boy Wonder is. At the lumber yard, Batman realizes he is too late! As he stops the saw which has just hit Robin's head, he realizes that things are not as grim as they seem. That's a dummy on the conveyor belt!

The Cases

"Fine Finny Fiends" & "Batman Makes The Scenes"

The Trap

Batman and Robin are put inside a large vacuum tank. Using gigantic reversing bellows, Penguin's henchmen begin to remove the air from the tank. Balloons inside the tank begin to burst as the air pressure drops.

The Teaser

"How can they live? Will they be vanguished by a vacuum?"

The Escape

As the air-meter falls to no air, it seems as if the Dynamic Duo has perished. Penguin certainly is fooled; he and his compadres of crime take off thinking them dead. But, they are deceived, Batman and Robin show up in Commissioner Gordon's office and explain the emergency tank of bat-oxygen in Batman's utility belt saved the day.

The Cases

"Shoot A Crooked Arrow" & "Walk The Straight And Narrow"

The Trap

Alfred is sent to Archer's hideout-- an archery range-- to distract the villains while Batman and Robin infiltrate the area. While Alfred engages Archer in a test of bowmanship, the Dynamic Duo make their way into the underground lair. Little do they know, however, security devices alert Archer to the intruders. With a simple press of a button, the Caped Crusaders are ensnared in a net. After an unsuccessful ruse at threatening to cut off Alfred's head if Batman does not reveal the location of the Batcave, Archer challenges Batman to a duel. Our hero accepts. It becomes apparent Archer isn't a very fair sport. Batman and Robin are tied to poles and Archer and his men mount horses, arming themselves with lances. They proceed to charge across the field toward the seemingly helpless heroes.

The Teaser

"Doth this foul deed spell finis for the Cape-ed Crusaders?"

The Escape

Batman and Robin activate the bat-springs in their boots, launching themselves into the air and free of the pole. They land a safe distance away and remove their bonds, free to fight crime once again.

The Cases

"Hot Off The Griddle" & "The Cat And The Fiddle"

The Trap

Planted clues lead Batman and Robin to the Pink Sandbox, a new restaurant which is actually Catwoman's hideout. The booth the duo are seated in suddenly turns around, dumping them into a secured room. Catwoman proceeds to give them the ultimate hot foot, turning a switch which super heats the floor in the room. Batman and Robin hop about in desperation, trying to come up with a plan of escape while trying to preserve their soles. Batman notices a water pipe running along the wall and quickly moves to bust it open. But alas, Catwoman has filled it with catatonic which knocks the Dynamic Duo cold. When they awake, they find themselves tied to giant BBQ pits lined with reflective material which has been greased with margarine. Giant magnifying glasses are positioned over the heroes so the full heat of the sun is bearing down on them. Catwoman plans to cook Gotham's protectors!

The Teaser

"Is their goose cooked? Will Batman and Robin stew in their own juices?"

The Escape

Earlier in the day, Bruce and Dick were preparing a telescope in order to view a solar eclipse. This eclipse, says Batman as he and Robin slowly begin to cook, is due in 16 seconds. And though this relief from the heat will only last for 30 seconds, Batman says it is all the time they need if his calculus is correct. He has calculated the asimythal equal distant projection of the sun's rays and has determined if they use their feet to move the magnifying glasses 14 degrees to the left, the sun beams will be concentrated on their bonds. Batman warns Robin that precision is of the utmost importance because one degree too much or too less and the sun will fry their hand. They move the magnifying glasses and as the solar eclipse comes to an end, it appears as if Batman's calculus was indeed correct.

The Cases

"The Minstrel's Shakedown" & "Barbecued Batman?"

The Trap

Batman and Robin sneak into Minstrel's hideout. They eventually come to a locked door and must break it down. They back up to the opposite wall and together they charge the door and crash into it at the same time. The momentum carries them into the room and right into a trap before they even know what hit them. The Dynamic Duo are tied to a spit and are slowly rotated over super units of radar grill which will cook the heroes in a matter of minutes.

The Teaser

"Is this melodious fiend finally cooking the duo's goose?"

The Escape

Back when they first entered Minstrel's hideout, Batman had placed adhesive bat-bombs along the length of the corridor. These bombs begin to go off creating a diversion which draws Minstrel and his cohorts out of the room. Batman and Robin quickly begin to shake and pull at their bonds, and within moments the turnspit pole is knocked off the stand. Now that they are free from the searing heat, the Dynamic Duo can concentrate on undoing their bonds. Within moments they are free and ready for a fight when Minstrel and his associates return to the room.

The Cases

"The Spell of Tut" & "Tut's Case Is Shut"

The Trap

Robin is sent off on his own on reconnaissance and it's only a matter of time before the Boy Wonde is in King Tut's clutches. Robin is to be the first to receive a dosage of Abu Ramu Simbu Tu, but he escapes his captors and runs into an adjoining room. Unfortunately, it's a room full of crocodiles which are waiting hungrily some 20 feet below. The plank Robin is standing on slowly begins to retract.

The Teaser

"Is Robin doomed? Those crocodiles look mighty hungry. Was Tut right? They'd be having a tasty dinner? Or was he merely shedding crocodile tears?"

The Escape

Before Robin left the Batcave, Batman slipped some radioactive bat-pellets into his sidekick's utility belt. Using the bat-geiger counter, Batman was able to track Robin to Tut's lair. Using a high-powered laser ray of some sort, Batman melts the steel bars across the room's window. He climbed up the window, secured a line and tossed a length of rope into the room and climbed in. He then swung over to Robin and together they both swung to the other side and climbed up to and out of the window to safety.

The Cases

"The Greatest Mother of Them All" & "Ma Parker"

The Trap

Batman and Robin escort Ma Parker and her gang to prison. As soon as the Dynamic Duo leave, however, it becomes evident Ma Parker wanted to be sent to prison. Over the last few months, she's been replacing Warden Crichton's men with members of her own gang. Ma Parker now controls the prison! As Batman and Robin walk back to the Batmobile, they notice a prison worker is closing the hood. He says he just wanted to see the engine and the Dynamic Duo have to reason not to believe him. Little do they know, that man was a member of Ma Parker's gang and he attached a bomb to the engine. Before Batman and Robin pull away, the guy tells them Warden Crichton drives 70 miles per hour on the highway, but he imagines the Batmobile could at least reach 100 mph. The bomb is set to go off when the Batmobile reaches 60 mph.

The Teaser

"Will the Batmobile be blasted?"

The Escape

As the Dynamic Duo cruised along the highway, Robin asks Batman to go faster. Batman points out that the speed limit is 55 mph. This makes them question what the prison worker said when they were leaving. There is no way Warden Crichton would break the law and drive 70 mph. Batman realizes the worker must have wanted them to drive faster. He pulls over and checks under the hood and sure enough there is a bomb attached to the engine. He throws it off the side of the road where it explodes.

The Cases

"The Clock King's Crazy Crimes" & "The Clock King Gets Crowned"

The Trap

Batman and Robin sneak into Clock King's hideout only to wipeout on a patch of super-slick watch oil Clock King had spread about as a trap. While the Dynamic Duo frantically try to regain their footing, they are blasted with sleeping gas. They awake to find themselves trapped in a giant hourglass, and Clock King has removed their utility belts. "Some people kill time," says Clock King, "but this time, time is going to kill you." The sand starts to pour in.

The Teaser

"Is this the zero hour for the Dynamic Duo? Are the sands of time really running out for Batman and Robin? At long last have they met a gritty, granulated, inglorious end?"

The Escape

Their first instinct is to break the glass with kicking and punching, but it is too thick. Robin suggests plugging the neck with their capes. Batman admits that would stop the sand but discourages this idea. The hourglass is airtight and they would eventually run out of air. Robin loses hope but Batman tells him not to give up. As long as they are alive they have a chance, he tells him. They begin to shift their weight from side to side, rocking the hourglass which eventually topples over. But, it does not break. Not disheartened, they start to run, rolling the hourglass across the floor, out the door, and into traffic where the hourglass is hit by a truck. Sometime later, Commissioner Gordon receives a phone call from Batman saying he and Robin are alright and still on the case.

The Cases

"An Egg Grows in Gotham" & "The Yegg Foes in Gotham"

The Trap

Egghead kidnaps the three descendants of the families which founded Gotham City in order to sabotage the 'Renewing of the Lease' ceremony, but there is another motive behind his actions. He believes one of them is Batman. Egghead has realized that crime-fighting would be an expensive endevour so Batman would have to be a millionaire. Peter Savage, Bruce Wayne and Tim Tyler are all millionaires and are all athletically inclined. Egghead has managed to gather info that places one of his captives above the others. Peter Savage has a French accent, Batman does not. Tim Tyler is left-handed, Batman is not. That leaves Bruce Wayne who is going to be subjected to Egghead's Electro Thought Transfer machine. This machine will empty the contents of Bruce Wayne's brain into Egghead's brain, leaving Bruce "an empty-headed fop". Bruce is held to the chair by an electro-magnetic force. Egghead turns on the machine and it begins to power up and suck Bruce's brain.

The Teaser

"Will the world's greatest criminal mind EGG-stract the true identity of Batman?"

The Escape

Dick Grayson is sitting on the sidelines with Peter Savage and Tim Tyler, tied to chairs and forced to watch the grisly display. Dick, however, refuses to sit idly by. He has been seated beside the power supply and quickly changes the voltage to 220 volts which short circuits Egghead's machine. Egghead drops a radar egg which will explode if it is disturbed by the slightest vibration and runs to safety with his henchmen. After freeing the others, Bruce leads them in the escape. In order to not disturb the bomb, they jump up and grab a hold of the piping along the ceiling. They move hand-over-hand and drop to safety. Bruce and Dick tell the others to leave the room while they detonate the bomb so there is no possibility that a citizen will find and disturb the bomb later on. Bruce and Dick crouch behind a table and Bruce uses a grape like a marble and hits the egg, setting it off. Bruce later tells Dick Egghed's machine was working but years of conditioning allowed him to block that portion of his brain which deals with dual identity. He admits he could not have managed to protect himself from the machine much longer.

The Cases

"The Devil's Fingers" & "The Dead Ringers"

The Trap

Batman and Robin are knocked unconscious by Harry's piano movers and tied up. They then put them on a large conveyor belt that leads into a huge piano roll machine. When Harry starts the machine, they start moving toward the inside of the machine, about to be perforated by the giant needles.

The Teaser

"Holy sour note! How will this music end?"

The Escape

Batman tells Robin to start singing as loudly as he can. Their voices drown out the music from the piano which was playing the music that was to be transferred onto their bodies. By selecting the perfect pattern of notes, Batman was able to divert the needles to punch an outline around their costumes.

The Cases

"Green Ice" & "Deep Freeze"

The Trap

Mr. Freeze and his henchmen defeat Batman and Robin in a fight, and they haul them next door to the abandoned Frosty Freezie factory. The machinery is still working, so they are placed in two giant Frosty Freezie machines and left to be turned into frozen treats.

The Teaser

"Batman being made into a pineapple frosty freezie?!!"

The Escape

Robin's wishful thinking of a Turkish bath saves the day. It somehow reminds Batman that frost is just moisture with the heat removed. Therefore, there must be some heat exhaust valve in the machines to create the frozen substance. Using their feet, they activate the valves, which recycles the exhaust of the heating unit of the container, and the heat transfer melts their way out.

The Cases

"The Impractical Joker" & "The Joker's Provokers"

The Trap

Joker puts Batman in his Human Key Duplicator, with a blank key that will be duplicated from his soon-to-be skeletonized body. His henchmen throw Robin in a Wax Spray Chamber, to be turned into a human wax sculpture.

The Teaser

"Is there any key to the solution of this monstrous scheme?"

The Escape

Batman sneaks a key from his utility belt while Joker's men are chatting. He puts it in the gears moving the cutting blade, and the whole machine falls apart, releasing him. He fights the henchmen off, then takes a wax-covered Robin back to the Batcave, where a large dose of Bat Wax Solvent turns him back to normal.

The Cases

"Marsha, Queen Of Diamonds" & "Marsha's Scheme Of Diamonds"

The Trap

Marsha came up with a nearly fool-proof plan to recover the coveted Bat-diamond (the Batcomputer's power source) from the Batcave. She shoots Robin from behind with a Cupid's arrow, causing him to become completely devoted to her. She then has her henchmen steal him away from Batman, and promises to return him only if he took her to the Batcave to get the Batdiamond. But Batman had sworn a sacred pledge never to allow a stranger into their secret hideout. So Marsha suggests that if she were to marry Batman, she would no longer be a stranger and therefore could be brought into the Batcave without his promise being broken. Batman now stands at the altar with Marsha, and it is his turn to say the dreaded words "I do."

The Teaser

"Mr. and Mrs. Batman??!! The dynamic duo may become a trio!!"

The Escape

Unable to escape such a brilliant trap, Batman stands at the altar muttering the word "I" over and over. Luckily, Alfred and Aunt Harriet had seen a news flash back in Stately Wayne Manor, and quickly made preparations. When they arrive at the church, Harriet claims to be Mrs. Batman, and Alfred produces a marriage certificate (fresh from the Bat-printer). Upon seeing this, the priest storms out, vowing never to marry a bigamist. Batman is left with nothing to do but thank his faithful butler and rush after Marsha.

The Cases

"Come back, Shame" & "It's How You Play The Game"

The Trap

Having outwitted the Dynamic Duo temporarily, Shame has them tied to the ground with stakes in the middle of the road. His henchmen fire into the air from down the street, inciting a cattle stampede in the direction of our heroes.

The Teaser

"Is this the big casino?? If you have the intestinal fortitude to learn the answer to these questions, tune in tomorrow! Shame time, Shame channel!"

The Escape

The many pounding hooves loosen the stake holding down Batman's hand, and he quickly pulls the others out of the ground. He then removes his cape, and lures the cattle away from Robin like a Spanish matador.

The Cases

"The Peguin's Nest" & "The Bird's Last Jest"

The Trap

Chief O'Hara is trapped inside a heavy metal box. Penguin's henchmen wait beside a large machine gun while Penguin stands beside a electric generator that will send 100,000 volts into the pool when turned on. When Batman and Robin arrive on the scene, O'Hara will be dumped into the pool, the Dynamic Duo will be blown into the pool by a barrage of lead from the machine gun, and the all three will then be zapped by 100,000 volts.

The Teaser

"Cross-fire and electrocution!"

The Escape

As the machine gun starts firing, out comes the Bat-shield. Unharmed, they are nonetheless pinned down and unable to help Chief O'Hara who is undoubtedly slowly suffocating in that metal box which now sits at the bottom of the pool. Thinking quickly, Batman tosses an exploding bat-pellet to knock Penguin away from the generator. The Caped Crusader then applies a bat-inverser to the electrical wires leading into the pool. As the dazed Penguin gets up and flips the switch, the metal box comes flying out of the pool! The bat-inverser has made an anti-magnet out of the box, repelling it from the electrical charge. At this time, the machine gun runs out of bullets and Penguin and his buddies run away.

The Cases

"The Sandman Cometh" & "The Catwoman Goeth"

The Trap

Batman and Robin track Sandman to an abandoned warehouse factory. During the ensuing fight with Sandman's henchmen, Robin is blasted with Sandman's sleeping powder and Batman is buried beneath a mountain of matresses. Batman is tied to a mattress and placed in a matress stiching machine. Robin, who is susceptible to Sandman's commands while under the influence of the gas, throws the switch which starts the machine. The giant needle begins to stich and it's only a matter of time before it sews Batman.

The Teaser

"Batman quilted to a mattress? Robin led away by the adominble Sandman to be the sleeping pawn in Catwoman's cat and mouse game?"

The Escape

As the needle moves around the mattress, Batman appears helpless. It seems as if a combination of poor planning and luck saves the Caped Crusader's life, as the stabbing of the needle breaks the bond binding his right hand to the mattress. With his free hand he quickly removes his utility belt, swinging it at the 'on' switch and manages to turn the machine off. Meanwhile, Robin has been taken to Catwoman's lair and has been sent into a giant maze, a large replication of the maze used to carry out scientific experiments on rats and mice. He eventually ends up in the center of the maze with Police Woman Mooney. Later, Batman arrives at Catwoman's hideout and goes into the maze to get Robin. In no time, he has found the Boy Wonder and Police Woman Mooney, and leads them out. Amazed, Robin asks how Batman could get through the maze so quickly. Batman tells him most mazes are based on a similar pattern, a pattern with which he is very familiar.

The Cases

"The Cat's Meow" & "The Bat's Kow Tow"

The Trap

Catwoman feigns surrender and gases the caped crimefighters. She then locks them in a two-tonne echo chamber that magnifies every sound ten million times. Water is being dripped onto the roof, producing drum-like vibrations that send Batman and Robin into agony. She intends for their eardrums to shatter and their brains to turn to "yeuch", so that Batman will become her mindless slave.

The Teaser

"Zounds! What sounds! Will Batman be reduced to a handsome robot, fit only to serve Catwoman?"

The Escape

Batman realizes that the room's sympathetic vibration is F sharp above high C. He and Robin then hum that note until the glass explodes, freeing them.

The Cases

"The Puzzles Are Coming" & "The Duo Is Slumming"

The Trap

Puzzler ties Batman and Robin up, and puts them in a hot air balloon. The basket is set to release when the altimeter reads twenty thousand feet.

The Teaser

"Is this the last hurrah for the dynamic duo?"

The Escape

Using a henchman's discarded piece of chewing gum, Robin plugs the air hole of the altimeter, stopping its increase just under twenty thousand feet. But, the balloon is still rising. Batman recalls reading that the elusive high-flying giant red-eyed hermit newthatch birds are migrating that day. Robin does not have that particular bird call in his repertoire, but Batman urges him to improvise. He succeeds, and one of the birds attacks the balloon, it then starts to descend. Luckily, their landing site in the mountains has a pay phone nearby, and they call for a cab.

The Cases

"The Contaminated Cowl" & "The Mad Hatter Runs Afoul"

The Trap

Mad Hatter's henchmen beat up Batman and Robin and herd them into an 'X-ray generator tube and fluoroscopic cabinet'. He then bombards them with high voltage x-rays.

The Teaser

"First Batman's cowl radio-activated!! And now the caped crusaders fluoroscoped forever??"

The Escape

Batman's bat x-ray deflector protects he and Robin from the deadly radiation, until atomic energy expert Dr. Overbeck releases them from the cabinet.
