I have posted these characters up just in case someone is stuck for a profile. These characters are by no means complete. They may be changed in anyway you choose, adding in your own persona.

WILLIAM CURT

Name: William Curt

Appearance: William has dark, medium length scruffy hair, a scar along his cheekbone and one along his right arm forms his elbow to his wrist. He wears a leather-armoured vest, has a bag of Celtic rune stones that have been passed down in his family, along with the Hunter Family ring. He carries a knife of his own making, a clover war axe and his mentor's sword.

Status: Human/Hunter from Ireland

Personality: Paranoid, very quiet, not afraid of people travels the world hunting and killing ANYTHING in his way. Loves the night and calls it "mother night" (he is a bit on the eccentric side). He is a trained hunter, by his mentor. When angered he will attack like an animal.

Capabilities: An avid hunter, William’s abilities as a tracker are second to none. His fighting style may be brutal and without grace but it has never failed him in the past. He applies his strength and speed to his quick mind in an almost animal fashion. His instincts are rarely wrong and if there is a fight to be fought, you're best bet is to be on his side.

Past History: His parents were burned at the stake for witchcraft, and as a result he was banished from the village never to return. William himself has absolutely no affiliation with any magical arts and generally has a poor disposition towards those who do. A family friend, who trained William as a hunter, adopted him. He was brought up in the man's family as his own son but was never truly accepted into the family because of his shady past. Many believe that despite his obvious disliking of witchcraft, he has carried on his parents "curse" of being open to the supernatural world.

It was because of this wide spread belief the he ventured to Scotland, hoping to make a new life for himself away from the superstitions of his own people. During his usual routine of hunting he had shot a deer but only wounded it. Out of pity for the animal and the desire to retrieve his arrow, William, tracked the animal to the place it where it had eventually died, within the standing stones. Unaware of it's power and paying no mind to the local legends about the place, he entered the circle of stones and ended up in Glenraven with most memories of his former life lost.

DALL McCULL

Name: DALL McCULL

Appearance: Dall is 6'4. He moves like a tiger and has the reflexes of a panther. He has red hair, blue eyes and a light complexion. Dark and deep, he wanders across the continent on a quest to find a link to his past.

Race: Human/Archer/Mercenary

Status: From Glenraven

Capabilities: Dall is an excellent swordsman, Archer and is quite capable in unarmed combat. In some regions of his homeland, Dall was claimed to be the best shot with a long bow for 10 years running. He also seems to have at least rudimentary training or a natural understanding of most weapons he has picked up. He prefers an interesting style using saber and rapier although these he uses quite rarely liking a good broadsword better. His quick and accurate style make him a dangerous opponent, while his discipline and ingenuity with improvisation make him doubly lethal. Being trained by the Wood Elves, Dall has some basic knowledge of magic, especially Fire and Heavens magic though he prefers to use cold steel in combat.

Past History: Waking up in a cottage, and being cared for by two wood elves, who had found him floating down the river on a plank of decking, badly wounded and near death, dressed in armor they had never seen before. That was six months ago, since then they had nursed Dall back to health and had shown him with love and affection that there was still goodness in the world. Since then he had wandered, searching for his identity and past...Life.

Glimpses into Dall's past come in times of meditation and conflict; he has flashbacks of his childhood and youth, of a person who he thinks was his father, in black and silver armour, stern and disciplined, and his mother, with long blonde braided hair, and beauty and gentleness...

LARA O'CONNOR

Name: Lara O'Connor

Appearance: Lara stands about 5'4" tall with cinnamon brown, wavy hair, worn loose to the waist, in a loose ponytail, braid, or tied in a green bandanna.

A slender build, she slips in and out of impossibly small places, even for her size. She tends to wear dark colours and earth tones. Usually, wearing knee high brown leather boots. Often she wears a braided leather wrist bands, sometimes head band and a crystal pendant of smoky quartz.

Race: Human - Spy and sometimes Thief

Status: From Glenraven

Personality: She is like a Robin Hood type characters. She has an incessant need to wander, and cannot settle in one spot for long. A red rose is her calling card. She leaves one everywhere she goes and with everyone she meets. Generally, easy going, bubbling with merriment, but you can only push her so far. It may be hard to earn her trust, but it is even harder to gain her forgiveness -- do not take her lightly. She is very proud that she has never stooped to assassination.

Capabilities: Studies legends as well as the study, use and collection of all kinds of weapons. She also has the ability to render herself invisible, which has helped her when thieving.

VALERIA
SORCERESS OF TRUTH

Name: Valeria, also known as the Sorceress of Truth or Lady of the Forest.

Appearance: Valeria has a mass of red wavy locks that cascades past her shoulders. She is 5'9" tall and has a very tiny frame. She has a pale complexion and a warm smile. The sorceress wears a long hooded green velvet cape and a matching dress. Sometimes she is seen wearing a long scarlet velvet gown dress with pointed sleeves. Around her neck is a gold necklace with a ruby pendant, that contains magical properties to whoever wears it.

Race: Half faerie and half Human

Status: Glenraven

Personality: The Lady of the Forest moves silently through the shadows and mists of Glenraven. She was born with the second sight and is reputed to be the Prophetess of Glenraven. Whenever a disaster or chaos will occur she comes to warn the inhabitants. You can never tell a lie to Valeria because she has the ability to see straight into your heart.

The sorceress loves to sing and often one can hear the echo of her voice singing an old Celtic song.

Whenever she becomes enraged she can cause great storms to happen. Valeria is also known as "The Lady of the Forest", for she wanders about the woods in search of those lost or in peril. Often, if a child is lost in the forest at night she will help them find their way home again. She can also charm the animals of the forest.

Past History: Valeria has been in Glenraven for centuries. Her father was a great sorcerer and her mother was a prophetess as well. Valeria never intends to leave Glenraven and will always be there to warn the people of coming danger.

ADAIR COSTAIN

Name: Adair Costain
Appearance: Adair, 6'0", auburn hair worn long and tied back, and dark green eyes. He is slim yet has some muscle definition. Adair is dark and brooding. He is a danger to himself and to others. Quick-minded and quick moving he is an excellent assassin.

Race: Human/Assassin

Status: From Glenraven

Personality: Adair is dark and brooding. Because of his profession, he has few friends and trusts no one. Quick minded and quick moving, he is excellent at his job. Even though, he is a danger, he has compassion for the inhabitants of Glenraven. He will usually challenge a man to a fight to see what his opponent is made of. He moves about the forest, treading softly and you'll not know he's there watching you until he strikes.

Life History: Adair's parents were traders. He enjoyed life until at 13 raiders killed his family. Fighting and stealing he managed to keep himself alive. But he was not untouched by the events of his childhood. When he was able Adair joined the Assassin's Guild and found an outlet for his hatred. At 32 he is a formidable assassin and is respected by his peers and feared by many.

TARA CAVANAGH

Name: Name: Tara Cavanagh

Appearance: Long and lean with a natural grace, Tara is perfectly suited to the life of an assassin. She's a natural at throwing knives keeping a wide assortment on her person at all times. She practices constantly with her lightweight rapier but fears she'll never quite master the art of fencing. She has dark auburn hair framing a heart shaped face. Her lips are too full, her nose too small but her eyes are a dark intriguing green.

Life History: Born the 5th daughter of the leader of band of thieves, her childhood was filled with running the streets learning the life of the pickpocket. To this day, if the chance arises, she'll clean someone out of their week's wages if she's able.

One day as she was about to pick a dignitary's pocket, he fell at her feet the victim of an assassin. Looking up into a woman's cold blue eyes she felt as if she was seeing her future. That woman became her mentor teaching her the art of the assassin. And so it went, till the mentor became someone else's victim. Now, part of Tara's vow is to find the assassin that deprived her of her mentor and her friend. And when she finds that assassin, she'll take what from him/her what he/she took from her friend. Trouble is, she's closer to finding the truth than she knows. And the truth doesn't always set us free.
