hhhhhh.......... Crydee, city of adventure! Full of thieves, assassins, warriors, pirates, knights, rangers, and of course, prostitutes! Can you not feel it my friend? Tension, passion, excitement... its all in the air! It's good to be home, and off that God forsaken boat. Which God you ask, well... whatever one you pray to is fine! Come after such a long voyage you must be tired, and hungry. You came by one of the two ways to reach this rat pit of a city, either by boat, or to walk over from the Bright Lands... but what a walk that is!

Come, let us go together and find a good Inn and a room and a glass of something. I like a good brawl or a tickle with a giggly serving girl. Maybe some excitement, but good food, good drink and fine women. Well, now I'm not sure if our fine city can... wait a moment, I have it my friend!! Come with me I will show you the best inn in all of Crydee.

It's just down a few streets on the "Streets of Despair". Worry not about the name my friend, The Merry Widow is the best place there is. Not believe me? Well you shall see for yourself! Here we are friends, The Merry Widow!! Come on in and make yourself at home. As you can see, its clean, a bit loud, but very friendly... until happy hour, that is. Here you can find a few fights, some loud boasting, the roughest men and of course the most lovely women in all of Crydee.

There is the master of the Inn himself, Daniel Jones. You'll not find a jollier innkeeper in all of Crydee or most other towns for that matter. He's honest (and that is hard to find), kind, and a funny man. Besides, he is an old friend. "Ho Daniel! Two ales here for my friend and I" A toast to you my friend, shall you ever find excitement and have a late death. In The Merry Widow you will find many an adventurer like yourself. It's a great meeting place for our kind. If you do not find a barmaid ready for some company, well then there are six prostitutes at work upstairs. They are all lively and comely wenches, full of life and more then willing to help a man forget his troubles. Let me tell you a secret of our innkeeper.

Daniel was not always the merry innkeeper we see. In fact, he won this inn in a bet! What was the bet you ask? Of course I will tell ye!! You see the former owner bet our Daniel that he could not drink a full bottle of whiskey with out taking a breath, set it down on the bar and still be standing. Well, as Daniel being here attests to it, he won! Well my friend, what do you think of this fine Inn! I thought you'd like it. Later it will get louder and rougher but not to worry, Daniel runs a tight inn and will not stand for too much nonsense. He is also a good one to ask if you have any questions about the city, or anything else for that matter! Well, I must go my friend... yes, I do have a lady waiting, and how well you know. Safe sleep friend, and fair hunting with the barmaids... you will need it!!
