These characters and their environs on Sports Night belong to ABC and Aaron Sorkin. No infringement is intended. This is just for fun, no money is being made from this. This story involves pre-sex between two men, aka: pre-slash. If that is *not* your cup of tea, sweet as it is, then don't read it! (simple, ain't it??) Feedback is *very* much appreciated, and always answered. Flames will be passed around to friends and chuckled over. :) Sequel to 'Cleveland', 'Treasure', 'Creaming', 'Things', 'Consideration', and 'Elevated'. More to come... Frustration by Amirin #128 *********************** "Nice shoes." "Casey. Hi." "How are you?" "Fine. You?" "Also fine. Very fine. Actually..." "I talked to Dan." "I know." "He told you." "Was he not supposed to?" "No. No. It's okay." "He said he promised you that we'd keep the thing out of the office." "I'd appreciate it." "It's not a problem." "Is it something else?" "Oh, yes." "What?" "An exercise in frustration, maybe. But it's not a problem." "I'm sorry." "Dana...Don't be. You're right. This isn't the place for the thing." "No. It isn't." "You okay? With everything?" "Not yet. But I'm working on it." "Thank you." "It really matters to you, doesn't it?" "Yes. It does. It really does." "I'm trying..." "I know. God, Dana...I know." "I want you to be happy. I really do. I'm not trying to make this difficult or uncomfortable..." "I know that. Really." "You do?" "Of course I do." "Thanks." "I think I'm about due for happy." "I'd have to agree. Honestly." "Thank you." "You do realize that if Dan doesn't make you happy, I'll be forced to shoot him." "Dana..." "It was his idea!" "Really?" "I have his permission." "Okay, then." "Yeah." "Are we okay?" "Always." "Good." "I've, uh, got to get back..." "Yeah, Danny's waiting for me." "Oh?" "Yeah, something about writing a script for something..." "The show?" "That must be it." "You two deserve each other." "I couldn't agree more." ~~~ "How'd it go?" "Good." "Yeah?" "Yeah. I think she's going to be okay with this." "Good." "Yeah." "That's a relief." "Yeah." "What?" "Did you really give her permission to shoot you?" "Yes." "If you didn't make me happy?" "Basically, yes." "I could kiss you." "Casey..." "What? I'm just saying..." "I know what you're saying." "Don't get angry." "I'm not angry." "You sound angry." "I'm not angry." "Then what is this?" "This is frustrated." "What's angry sound like?" "With hurt or without?" "Without." "Louder. Angry sounds *much* louder." "This is frustrated." "Yes. It is. Trust me." "You're not angry." "No." "Okay." Casey walked over to Danny's desk, shoved aside the script-in- progress, and sat down. "Why are you frustrated?" Dan sighed and leaned back in his chair. "You want a list?" "Not another list." "Casey..." "Tell me. Please." Danny swallowed heavily and stood up, then moved forward just enough to place himself between Casey's legs. He rested his hands on the man's thighs and grinned as the muscles jumped under his fingers. "Danny?" Casey asked, his voice sounding strangled. "I can still taste you from earlier and it's driving me insane," Dan murmured, watching Casey's mouth. "Ohh, fuck." "I wish." "I can still hear that whimper you made when I wouldn't let you stop kissing me." "That was a groan." "It sounded like a whimper." "Trust me, when you make me whimper, you'll know it." "I want to know it." "You are determined to make me lose my cool, aren't you?" "I'm not trying to." "You don't *have* to try, Case. Shit," Dan kept one eye on the outer office and ran his hands over Casey's legs, his thumbs following the inside seams of his friend's jeans. "Danny, we have to stop this." "I know. I don't want to stop." "I don't want to stop, either." "I know that, too." "I want to get you alone and do something positively untoward with you." "We couldn't be more in agreement, here, Case, truly." "God, Danny." "I've got a thing for you like you would not believe." "Oh, I'd believe it." "I can't stand this. I *need* to kiss you." "Now? "*Right* now." "Where?" "I don't know." "Editing is out." "So's sound." "Control room?" They looked at each other and shook their heads. "Bad idea," they chorused. "Wardrobe?" "Genius." "Meet me there in ten." "You're on." ~~~ Casey had barely entered the room when a hand wrapped around his arm and spun him backward into the wall. Danny's mouth covered his an instant later, muffling his startled curse. Frenzied gentled somewhat into passionate as hands slid over and around clothing and if Danny and the wall hadn't been supporting him, Casey would've slid to the floor. He buried his fingers in Danny's hair and carefully tugged his head back. "Breathe," he gasped quietly. "If you insist," Dan murmured into his ear then whimpered when Casey's lips found his pulse. "Bingo." "Got me." "Mmmm." "Ohh, Casey." "Christ, you taste good." "You, too." "This is insane," Casey murmured against Dan's neck. "Completely." "*We're* insane." "Certifiably. Watch the marks." "Damn, I want to mark you." "Then do it where it won't show." "I love the way you think," Casey grinned. "*Whatever* you're doing, you've got about two minutes to look like you haven't been doing it," Jeremy's voice came through the door. Both of them froze. "Thank you," Dan called out and choked back a laugh as Casey's head dropped to his shoulder. "Shit." "Hey, it's okay." "Really?" "Yeah. I think this actually helped. Or made it even worse. One of the two." Casey snorted. "God, Danny...I have such a thing for you." "Believe me, I can feel it." "Yeah?" "Ohh, yeah. Pretty hard to miss." "We've got to go." "I know." "We'll have to meet like this again sometime." "I'm all for that." Danny pulled back with a sigh and gave Casey the once-over. "You'll do." "I don't look like I've been kissed stupid?" "Actually, you do. But it's a *really* good look for you." Casey laughed and headed slowly for the door, then looked back at Danny. "Go ahead, I'll be along." "We've got a run-down." "I know. Give me a few." "You got it." Casey opened the door slowly and peered out, but only Jeremy was standing there, with a grin trying to push through the frown on his face. "How'd you know?" "Natalie saw Dan leave your office, looking determined, and followed you a few minutes later. After redirecting Dana to editing." "Smart lady." "That she is. We've got a run-down in twenty." "Yeah, I know. Thanks. For everything." "No problem. Just be a little more careful, in future, all right?" "Yeah. We will." "Okay." "When's Dan coming out?" Casey looked stunned. "He isn't. Neither of us are..." "Casey, I meant out of wardrobe." "Ohh, right. In a few. He just needs to get his cool back." Jeremy grinned. "He lost his cool?" "Completely lost." "That, I'd like to see." "It's a sight that would humble most ordinary men." "I'll bet." They managed to keep their faces straight for another second before erupting in laughter. Natalie stuck her head around the corner and looked at them quizzically. "Hey, Natalie." "Hi. Everything okay?" "Everything's fine. Your early warning system was inspired." "I do my best," Natalie grinned as Jeremy joined her at the end of the hall. "By the way, you look like you've been kissed stupid." "I've been told it's a good look for me." "Then you've been lied to. And the next time you two decide to spend some quality time together, will you just *ask* one of us where to go and when?" And with that, she dragged Jeremy back around the corner. "I'll be damned." "About what?" Dan asked as he opened the door behind Casey. "I've been informed that kissed stupid is *not* a good look for me." "*I* think it's a good look for you." "That's good enough for me," Casey shrugged, then smiled. "You've got your cool back." "I wasn't aware that I'd ever lost it." "It was lost." "And now it's found." "Was blind..." "But, now, can see." "We are so in the zone." "Yes, we are." "Natalie said to ask her or Jeremy if we did this again." "For what, permission?" "No, for ideas on where to do it without getting busted." "We'll have to return the favor sometime." "Sounds like a plan." "Not another plan." "That's what I said about lists." "I remember." "We've got a run-down." "Yes, we do," Danny sighed. "Are we good?" "We are far, far beyond good." "Beyond good?" "*Way* beyond good." "Good." "After you." "Do you want me to go first just so you can check me out?" "Yes." "That's what I thought." "Is that a problem?" "Not even." "Good." "Very good." "Ohh, Danny. *Very* good." ~~~end
