I have this tattooed on my right arm. Let me break down the meaning for you. Aisha means Life. The symbol (treble clef) represents the letter S. There is no Aisha without the S, therefore, there is no Life without Music.
I have been playing the flute for 10 years now. I also played piccolo for 4 years. I have never taken private lessons, yet I held 2nd chair in my high school symphonic band for 2 years. I was also able to recieve a 'I' on a class A solo (Andante et Scherzo, in case you wanted to know) at Ohio Solo and Ensemble contest. I am very proud of my playing.
I think that the flute is the greatest instrument there is (okay, so I'm a little biased). I have a Emerson open-holed flute. It has a solid silver head. I got it as a christmas present my junior year in high school. It is the one thing I own that I care the most about.
