A003 - This one was in the CCE auction catalog of Oct. 1997, it is an Anglo- Saxon Silver (AR) "Sceatta" or "Sceat" of England circa 700-750, called by CCE "Frisian Series." Obverse has a cross with some legend and pellets. Reverse has a "standard" like those of the Romans. This coin is called RARE by CCE, graded VF, and valued at $350.00.
