Dawson sat by the creek confused and hurt. His mind said one thing and his heart another. He came to Capeside to help a friend mourn the loss of a loved one. He didn't expect to start crushing on the girl down the creek again.

His thoughts drifted to Gina. He never meant to hurt her, but seeing Joey againbrought feelings he thought he got over back again.

His thoughts now drifted to Joey. He remembered seeing the confused look on her face when he told her he had a girlfriend not to mention the hurt look in her eyes.

She stood up from the ground and looked at him with a disappointed look. When he tried to grab her to explain she pushed him away and simply said "Good-bye, Dawson," and walked away.

When he turned to look at Gina he saw she had already left. Not knowing which girl to go after he just stood there.

Ding-Dong, Jen heard as she was washing the dishes.

"Could someone please get that," she yelled from the kitchen.

Apparently no one heard.

"Never mind. I'll get it myself," Jen said.

She opened the door to find none other than Pacey there.

"Hey, Pacey. What are you doing here?" Jen asked.

"I just came by to see if you saw Dawson. I haven't seen him all day."

"Well, I saw him with Joey by the ruins. They where talking and I didn't want to disturb them so I left. But that was about an hour ago. Why?"

"Oh, I just wanted to see if he saw his girl yet. She just came here to surprise him."

"He has a girlfriend?" Jen asked surprised. Pacey nodded. "Oh, you see I kind of think Joey still likes him, but she won't say anything to me. There goes any chance of them hooking up again."

"Really. I think Dawson still likes Joey but he won't admit it either."

"Oh. Well, maybe now that they've seen each other again, they'll get back together," Jen said.

"Yeah," Pacey said.

"JEN!!!!," a girl screamed. "Get back in here now!"

Jen turned around to see her sister at the door calling her.

"Okay," Jen yelled back.

"Full house, huh?" Pacey asked

"Yup, the house is filled with relatives, her church friends and millions of dirty dishes," Jen said with a smile."Well, I'll catch you later, Pacey. Good luck finding Dawson." Jen said heading for the door

"Bye, Jen!" he said.

Pacey looked at his watch which read 8:30. "Man, where is he?" Pacey wondered. Suddenly he saw a familiar figure at the ruins. Dawson? he said to himself.

As he came closer he realized it was Dawson. "Hey, Dawson!" he shouted.

Dawson turned around and saw Pacey coming towards him. "Pacey what are you doing here?"

"Man, I've been looking for you the past half hour. Gina called. She's coming. Did you see her yet?"

"Yeah, I saw her," Dawson said.

"Well, where is she then?" Pacey asked.

"It's a long story, but here it goes."

Ding-Dong.

"I've got it!"Jen yelled.

She opened the door and found out it was Joey.

"Hey, Joey, what are you doing here?

"Wanna go for a walk? I have to talk to you."

"Uhh, sure." Jen said closing the door behind her. "Lets go"

Joey explained everything to Jen as they arrived at the Ice House and sat down.

"He kissed you?" Jen asked.

"You kissed her?" Pacey asked, shocked. "Touchdown for Dawson."

"There's more," Dawon said. "We began to kiss when Gina came she saw us and left. When I told Joey who Gina was, she left without giving me a chance to tell her that I like her."

"So let me get this straight," Jen began, "Gina saw Dawson kiss you and when you found out who she was you left."

"Yup," Joey answered.

"But you still like Dawson?"

"Yeah. Now I have no idea what I am going to do. It's going to be really awkward being around him. I feel like an idoit. I should have figured he had a girlfriend."

"Joey, he should have told you" Jen said. "Anyway, I wish I could stay but I have to go. My mom's gonna kill me. Bye Joey."

"Bye, Jen, and thanks," she said with a smile.

"Pacey!" Jen shouted "Over here."

"Hey, Jen, what are you doing?" Pacey asked making her way over to her.

"Nothing. Just walking home. I just finished talking with Joey."

"Really?" he said. "I just came from talking with Dawson."

"Cool. So where is he anyway?" she asked

"He decided to stop by the Ice House to-"

"The Ice House?" Jen asked, cutting him off .

"Yeah. Why?" he asked.

"Joey's there."
