Author's Note: First off my deepest apoilogies on this being so late. I am soooo sorry, really. Ever since school started I have been extremly busy and also there's been some personal business that has been hard on my family so writing the next part to this series wasn't really on my to do list until now. I just finished midterms (yay!) so I have free time. So enough of my babling (if you're still reading this your really nice) on with the story. A Walk Through the Clouds Part 4

Dawson woke up as he heard a knock on his door. He looked over at his clock and saw that it read 10:00 am. "Wow I can't believe I over slept," he said. He heard the knock on his door again and got up to answer it.

When he opened the door he was surprised to see the brown haired girl standing in front of him.

"Gina," he said.

Pacey walked into the Icehouse. He quickly noticed Jen sitting at a booth by herself. "Hey," he said.

"Pacey, hey," she said with a smile. "Whats up?" she asked.

"I could ask you the same thing. Aren't you supposed to be at your Grams's funeral? When I left you and Joey were still there."

"Yeah, but seeing all of her friends and my family. I thought it would be better if I left. So I asked Dawson to drive me here. He came after Joey left."

"Oh. Well, umm, why don't we catch a movie or something? That'll cheer you up," he said with a smile.

"Okay, that will be great," she said.

"Gina," Dawson said "Come in. Please."

"Thanks," she quietly said. "Umm," she began with a small laugh, "I am leaving. I thought it would be a good idea to fly home so I came here to tell you that."

"That's all?" Dawson asked "Shouldn't you be yelling at me by now? I mean I hurt you. I cheated on you."

"Dawson, I know. Words couldn't express how feel but I am not going to yell at you, it's not going to solve anything. You know who you want to be with and I am in the way. So I'm stepping aside. I just came to say that I forgive you and not to worry about me. My flight leaves at 1. I came here early just get this over with and I hope when we return to school we can be friends. So I'll see you, Dawson," she said and began to make her way towards the door.

"Gina, wait!" Dawson said grabbing her arm.

"Yeah?" she asked turning around.

"Wanna catch a movie....as friends?" he asked.

Jen and Pacey sat down in thier seats waiting for the movie to begin.

"Thanks, Pacey," Jen said turning to face him, "I really needed this."

"No problem," he replied, "that's what friends are for."

Soon the movie screen was showing the No smoking, No talking skit. Jen sighed and slid back in her seat. She looked to the side when she heard the sound of the door being opened. She saw the couple slowly looking for seats. As she looked at the young man more she saw he looked familar "Dawson.." she whispered.

Pacey heard Jen speak and looked over to her "Hmm?" he asked.

"Dawson," Jen pointed out "He's there with some girl"

Pacey looked over to where Jen pointed. Sure enough there was Dawson with a girl sitting only two rows away from them. "Gina," he whispered, "that's Gina....his girlfriend."
