Kiss Me
Our Little Secret Part One by: Dannie

Kiss me out of the bearded barley.
Lightly, beside the green, green grass.
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step.
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight.
Lead me out on the moonlit floor.
Lift your open hand.
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance,
silver moon's sparkling.
So kiss me.

Kiss me down by the broken tree house.
Swing me high upon its hanging tire.
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat.
We'll take the trail marked on your father's map
-Kiss Me Sixpence None The Richer

"Do you know how much I love you?" Dawson asked her.

"Just as much as I love you," she replied.

"You know, you never cease to amaze me."

"Well, I can think of another way to amaze you."

"You can, can you?"

"Yeah, just watch. The wonders never cease."

She brought her lips to his. A soft moan escaped from her as Dawson deepened the kiss. She explored his mouth with her tongue. He let out groan as he pulled her closer to him. He wanted her badly right now, right there. She wanted him just as badly. She started to unbutton his shirt, she wanted to feel every part of him. He slid his hands underneath her shirt and started kissing her everywhere, on her neck, on her eyelids, anywhere but her lips.

She took off her clothes and stood before him.

"You're so beautiful," he told her as he approached her.

She stood in front of his window, the moonlight making her features appear more delicate. He took off his clothes and stood before her in his boxers. She met him halfway and he pulled her closer to him and started kissing her neck. She tingled all over. He picked her up and laid her on his bed. He stood up, looking down at her lovingly. She looked up at him, her eyes reflecting his exact emotions.

"Dawson, make love to me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Are you sure? I would never do anything to hurt you."

"I'm sure," she said as she pulled him down to her and he proceeded to make love to her. She yelled out his name as he drove her to the point of no return.

"Dawson!!!" Andie yelled as she sat up in bed. Andie glanced around her and realized she was in her room. What a weird dream, she thought. Dawson. Dawson Leery. She brought her hand up to her lips, remembering his kisses on her lips. It felt so real. Do I want it to be real? Andie closed her eyes and laid back down. She started falling asleep once again. Her eyes fluttered open as she realized she did want it to be real.

16-year-old Andie Mcphee looked up from her English textbook and gazed at her boyfriend, Pacey Witter, who was sitting on the floor next to her bed staring intently into his English book. She smiled to herself. Pacey is so cute, she thought. I just love the way he looks at me with those eyes of his, I love his smile and his kisses. Andie sighed remembering, what happened last time Pacey started kissing her. It never ended with just a kiss anymore. I must be the luckiest girl on earth to have him as my boyfriend. Andie was so lost in thought that she did not notice Pacey had stopped studying and was now trying to talk to her.

"So, Andie, you were right, this story is pretty interesting. I especially like the part when the guy..." Pacey stopped talking when he realized she was not listening to a word he was saying. "Mcphee?" Pacey asked trying to get her attention but failing. "Mcphee?" he asked again waving his hand in front of her face.

She still paid him no mind.

"Andie! Earth to Andie!" he said, exasperated.

Andie snapped out of her trance and turned her attention to Pacey. "What were you saying?" Andie asked him.

"Forget it. Anyway, what were you thinking about? You were off in your own little world. I was worried about you," Pacey said with concern.

Andie blushed as she remembered what she was thinking about. "Nothing," she replied quickly.

"You were not thinking about nothing, so come on, tell me."

"Forget it. It's not important."

"Anything you think about is important. At least to me it is."

Andie blushed. Pacey always had this way of making her feel special.

"Well if you really want to know, I was thinking about Dawson Leery. I was thinking how much a better boyfriend he would be than you," Andie said with a smile on her lips.

"Is that so?" Pacey said with a smile.

"Yeah, I figured why not date a member of my own species."

"Oh, the delusional race. I understand," Pacey said with mock seriousness. "I guess this means that I can now date Abby Morgan."

"Pacey Witter, you will not date Abby Morgan!"

"Why not? I have to find someone who will appreciate my charming smile and my great physique, not to mention my nice ass."

"Hah, don't make me laugh, Pacey. You're anything but charming. You're lucky, I felt bad for you and started dating you."

"So you're saying the only reason you started dating me was because you felt sorry me?"

"Yup! And maybe because of your ass," Andie said and tried to return to studying.

"So this is a purely superficial relationship, you're just using me because of my body?"

"Hey, guys do it to girls all the time."

"That's okay, I'm only with you because of the sex," Pacey stated matter of factly. Andie lunged at him and started tickling him.

"You take that back Pacey Witter!" she yelled at him while she was tickling him.

"Never!" he replied back jokingly, and pinned her down beneath him so that now he was laying on top of her. Andie froze underneath him. Ever since that dream, she felt a little uncomfortable ever time Pacey tried to kiss her.

"We really should get back to studying, we have a really big test tomorrow."

Pacey gazed into her eyes and said "I have something better in mind." Andie diverted her eyes from his face. Pacey gently grabbed her face and turned it towards him. "You know I was just joking before, I'm not with you because of the sex," he said as he gazed lovingly into her eyes.

"I know," she replied quietly. She felt bad. It wasn't his fault. She was the one having sexual dreams with his best friend. Pacey looked at her, not really sure if he believed her or not.

"I love you, Andie Mcphee. You're the best thing that ever happened to me. I just wanted to let you know how important you are to me. Don't ever forget that." Andie looked at him seriously before answering. She wanted to memorize this moment. She always wanted to remember her and Pacey like this. She had a feeling they wouldn't be like this for long.

"I love you, too, Pace. I still think Dawson would make a better boyfriend though," she said with a smile.

"Oh, yeah?" Pacey said as he moved in closer to her.

"Yeah."

"Well, I guess I'll have to change your mind about that." Pacey said as he kissed Andie. She kissed him back with just as much passion. Pacey Witter, I love you so much. If only you knew how true, what I was saying before was, she thought as they continued kissing.

"You know what Jack?" Joey asked Jack as she joined him at the table for lunch.

"What?" he asked.

"I think you're the only sane person I know around here?"

Jack laughed "Why do you say that?"

"This whole day has gone crazy, ever since I got to school. First your sister corners me in the hallway and starts to tell me something about Dawson Leery. Anyway, after nodding my head a few times, pretending I was interested in what Andie was saying, I finally lost her. Then as I was rounding the corner, heading to class, I ran into Dawson. He gave me this whole big speech that had to do with his latest film project. I tuned him out. Now I really have to make that up to him because things with us aren't going so well. While we were walking, none other then Jen Lindley decides to join us. I never thought I would be so happy to see Jen because now Dawson had someone else to talk to and they walked off to film class together. I was about to head into class, and I was just in time, too, because there was like only two minutes left before the late bell rang, when Pacey grabs me. ‘Look Jo, I'm worried about Andie, she's been acting kind of distant lately. I was wondering if you could talk to her for me ?' he asked me. So I told him that I had to go and why didn't he stop by the Ice House later so we could talk. I was just about to go in when Chris comes running out of the classroom and pushes me out of the way. That caused all my papers to fly everywhere. So then I had to stop and pick everything up and by the time I had finished the late bell had already rang and I was late. Can you believe it? I was right in front of the classroom and I was late. I can't wait for spring break."

"Jeez, Jo take a breath."

"I know," Joey said.

"You're starting to remind me of Andie."

"It's just that I have a lot to do."

"It's okay. You just have to learn how to relax. I tell you what, why don't we go do something this weekend?"

"I don't know, don't we have to work this weekend?"

"I'll ask Bessie, I'm sure she'll gives us the whole weekend off ."

"Sounds tempting , but I doubt she would."

"Think positive."

"Alright, I'll cross my fingers," Joey said as she rolled her eyes.

"You'll cross your fingers for what?" Andie asked as she sat down to join them.

"Joey has been feeling overwhelmed and I thought it would be a good idea to take this weekend off. I figured we could go to the old cabin."

"That's a great idea Jack. I would love to go back up there. I have such great memories of when we went up there, when we were younger and everything was normal. Why don't me and Pacey go with you?"

"Why don't you and I go where?" Pacey asked Andie as he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and sat down to join them.

"I was thinking that we could all go up to the cabin for the weekend. We haven't been up there since Tim died and we have to check up on the cabin anyway."

"Cabin? What cabin?" Jen asked confused as she sat down and joined the others.

"It's an old cabin my parents own. We use to spend the summer there, when Jack and I were younger. It's great it has five bedrooms, a huge kitchen, a fireplace and its right by this huge lake. It's very secluded and peaceful. I loved it there," Andie said enthusiastically. She was getting really excited at the prospect of going back.

"Sounds great. Can I come?"

"What sounds great and where do you want to go?" Dawson asked as he stole a fry from Joey's tray.

"Andie was just telling us about her family's cabin up in the mountains," Jen said in answer to Dawson's question.

"Really, sounds cool," Dawson said as he sat down next to Andie. Andie shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She felt nervous being next to Dawson. That dream she had had been followed by numerous others. Each dream was the same but in a different setting: sometimes in his house, other times in hers, at the video store where he worked and even in her car.

"I think we should make it a group thing. It would be cool if we could all go," Andie said happily trying to disguise her discomfort.

"It sounds like a plan," Pacey said.

"Maybe I could film while we're up there," Dawson said.

"I'll have to ask Grams. She might give me a hard time and not let me go," Jen said.

"As I was telling Joey earlier Jen: Think positive," Jack said.

"Hey, Jen, I just remembered, we have to go see Mr. Gold before lunch is over," Dawson said.

"Sure. Let's go now," Jen said.

"Well, guys, I guess we'll be seeing you. We have to meet again and discuss our plans for this weekend," Dawson said.

"Yeah. It sounds like a good idea and I would really like to go," Jen said as she got up to join Dawson. Dawson and Jen then exited the crowded cafeteria.

"So, Pace, do you think you'll be able to go?" Andie asked. There was no way she would go if Pacey wasn't going.

"Sure, I see no reason why not."

"So this is just great. Isn't it great you guys?" Andie asked as she turned her attention back to Joey and Jack who were pretty quiet during the lunch period.

"Yeah great," Jack said, as he thought about the weekend alone he was planning to have with Joey until his sister made it a party. Great, he thought, just great.

"Great," Joey said and nodded her head. A whole weekend with the people she was trying to get away from. She knew this weekend would be anything but great. She looked at Jack but he just shrugged his shoulders at her. God, was I really that bad a person in another life? she thought and she slumped down in her chair. Andie sat there giddily smiling at them, to oblivious to notice Joey and Jack's dejected looks.

Great, everything is just great. I can't wait for this weekend Andie thought. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"So, Joey, I hear everyone's planning to go up to a cabin Jack and Andie's parents own," Bessie told Joey. Joey just gave her a look. She was hoping that Bessie wouldn't find out, that way she wouldn't have to go.

"Yeah."

"So, why didn't you tell me about it?"

"I knew you wouldn't be able to let me go, it's been real busy here," Joey lied.

"Jo, you know that's not true. You should go, you need a rest. I remember what it's like to be a teenager."

Joey grimaced. "Well, you know since everyone's leaving tomorrow and I don't have my stuff ready, maybe I should just stay." This was her last chance to stay. There was no way she wanted to go.

"Well, then I guess you better leave now and go start packing."

"But Bessie.."

"No, buts about it, go."

"But--"

"Go!" Bessie said firmly and ushered her sister out the door.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Well, is that everything?" Pacey asked as he finished loading the jeep.

"Yeah, I think so," Andie said.

"Andie, how much clothing do you need? You're only going for a weekend," Dawson said as he eyed Andie's luggage. Andie blushed. She had managed to avoid seeing Dawson all week, and now was the ultimate test: to spend the weekend with him. They had all agreed to meet at Dawson's. Everyone was there except for Joey and Jen.

"Where's Jen and Joey?" Dawson asked.

"Well, Joey said she was going to be a little late," Jack said.

"And Jen's right here," Jen said as she joined the rest of them.

"Okay, Jen, where's your stuff so we could load them into the car?" Pacey asked.

"Over there," Jen said as she pointed to a pile of luggage that stood on the edge of her driveway. Pacey's eyes widened in surprise.

"Did you have to bring every piece of clothing you own?" Pacey asked her.

"Well, I wanted to be prepared," Jen said.

"I swear I don't know what's wrong with girls and their clothes. I bet you if we were going for a week you would have brought a year's worth of clothes with you." Jen stuck her tongue out at Pacey. "Oh, yeah that's mature."

"Oh, yeah. Look who's talking about maturity."

"Hey, Dawson, Jack a little help here," Pacey said as he attempted to load Jen's luggage.

"Sure, Pace," Dawson said as he went to help Pacey.

"Jeez, Jen what did you bring with you rocks?" Jack asked as he attempted to pick up one of Jen's bags.

"Ha, ha very funny," Jen said sarcastically to Jack.

"Finally, we're done," Pacey said in complete relief.

"Wait isn't someone missing?" Jen asked.

"That would be me," Joey said as she approached the group. Everyone turned their attention to Joey.

"Well, Jo, where's your pile of luggage?" Pacey asked her.

"Right here," Joey said as she pointed to the duffle bag on the floor beside her legs.

"Joey, you don't know how much I love you right now. Finally, one girl who knows how to pack sensibly," Pacey said as he went to hug her.

"Pace, take one more step in my direction and you die."

"Okay. Fine, load your own bag," Joey headed to the jeep and put her bag in the back on the floor. "Joey, one question though..."

"What is it Pace?" Joey asked, clearly annoyed.

"Do you have your period?"

"No."

"Oh, so you were just born nasty."

"Bite me, Pacey."

"Don't tempt me," Pacey said and got into the driver's seat of the car. "So are we leaving or not?" Everyone got into the jeep. Before Joey went in, Jen pulled her to the side.

"Joey, are you okay?"

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

"Well, it looks like you haven't slept in days and don't say it's Alex because Bessie told me he's been sleeping the whole night through lately."

"It's nothing. I've just been having these weird dreams lately."

"Really, what were they about?"

"Look, I really don't want to talk about it right now."

"Well, if you ever do, you know where to find me," Jen said as she started to get into the jeep, a little disappointed Joey still didn't want to trust her.

"You know what, Jen?"

"What?"

"I might have to take you up on that offer," Joey said with a smile.

Jen smiled back at her. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"So, are we going to stop and eat or what? I'm starving," Pacey said. They had left at seven that morning and now it was two o' clock.

"Pacey do you ever think about anything besides food?" Joey asked.

"Let me think about that.. well maybe one other thing."

"Pervert."

"That wasn't what you were saying last night." Joey blushed. Could he know about her dream? She shook her head to herself. Nah, he couldn't. she thought.

"Then you woke up." Joey said.

"Pacey pull over. "Andie said.

"Why?"

"This is the last store before we head to the cabin and we need to stop and get some food," Andie said. Pacey pulled over and Andie got out. "Anyone want to come with me?" she asked. Jack had fallen asleep in the back, Jen just looked out the window. Joey rolled her eyes. "Pace?" He just shrugged his shoulders at her.

"I'll go," Dawson said and got out of the car.

"Thanks," Andie mumbled.

"I'm going to get out and stretch my legs a bit. Anyone want to join me?" Jen said. The only response she got was silence. "Okay, I'll take that as a no. Please try not to kill yourselves," Jen said as she left the car. Jack stood sleeping in the back. Joey and Pacey sat in silence.

"So what are you doing?" Pacey asked Joey. She had a book open on her lap and was writing in it.

"You know, I think I'll go join Jen for that walk," Joey said and placed the book under her seat, then exited the car.

"Was it something I said?" Pacey asked no one in particular. The only response he got was a snore from Jack.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"We're here!" Andie exclaimed as they pulled up in front of the cabin. She jumped out of the car as soon as it stopped and ran inside the cabin. Everyone got out and started to stretch. Jack yawned and headed over to Joey.

"Hey, sleepy head," Joey said and ruffled his hair. Jack pulled her closer to him and smiled down at her. "It's really beautiful out here," she said as she looked around.

"You haven't seen anything yet. We'll have to go take a walk around later."

"Sounds good," Joey said as Jack lowered his head and kissed her softly on the lips.

"Sounds real good," Jack said as he went to kiss Joey again.

"So, Jen, what do you think?" Dawson asked her.

"I think there's too many mosquitos for this time of year," she said as she swatted a mosquito away. Dawson let out a laugh.

"Besides that, Jen. Don't you think it's beautiful out here?"

"Yes it is very... Ahchoo!, excuse me, beautiful. I can't wait to see the, Achoo!, rest of it. Excuse me."

"Jen, are you okay?"

"Sure, Dawson. Achoo! Why?"

"Ever since you got out of the car you haven't stopped sneezing."

"Dawson that's nonsense. Achoo! Okay, maybe it's not."

"I think you're allergic to something here."

"I think so, too. Achoo!"

"Come on let's get you inside," Dawson said as he wrapped an arm around her and brought her in.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"So, Pace, what do you think? Isn't it wonderful?" Andie asked Pacey as he wrapped his arms around her as she was standing on the porch.

"Yeah, it is," Pacey said. The sun was starting to set and everyone was already settled inside the cabin. Everyone was inside watching one of the movies Dawson brought with him. Pacey and Andie escaped outside to be alone.

"Isn't it beautiful?"

"You're beautiful," Pacey whispered in her ear. Andie turned to face him and he brought his lips down to meet hers. They stood there kissing.

"Pacey, can I have the keys to the car?" Dawson said as he stepped out on to the porch interrupting Pacey and Andie. "If it's a bad time I can come back later?"

"No, forget it. What do you need the keys for?"

"It's Jen."

"Oh, my God did something happen to her?" Andie asked alarmed.

"No, it's nothing like that. She has a bad case of allergies, and I want to get her some medicine."

"Oh, sure here they are. Hey, Andie why don't you go with him."

"Why?" Andie asked alarmed. She didn't want to be alone with Dawson!

"Because you know where the store is."

"Okay, then."

"Pace, tell Jen I went to get her the medicine, alright?"

"Sure."

"Andie you coming?" Dawson asked her.

"What? Oh, yeah, sure." She gave Pacey a quick peck on the cheek and got into the car.

"So, we'll see you later, Pace," Dawson said and drove off.

Pacey walked back inside. Andie's acting weird again, he thought.
