Meet Rene Kojder Dog's Best Friend!

Rene loves all dogs, and at 72 years of age still works full-time looking after the residents of Dog Heaven (canine and human). Her parents were Ferdinand Dalian and Rose Getzel Dalian who immigrated to America before World War I from Austria. She married a handsome devil before WWII, and when the war was finished so was he! Years later she married Clyde Moore and with him had two children, Lynn and Gary. She was no ordinary mother. Instead of Dr. Suess or Mother Goose, the bedtime stories she told were the libretti of 101 famous operas. No wonder her children developed ripe imaginations!

In 1976 she met and married the love of her life, Richard Kojder, a charming Polish intellectual in working man's clothes from Chicago, who played the concertina, enjoyed a good conversation or debate, and adored country life. They established the farm in Southern Illinois which plays host to happy canines all the time and interesting human visitors part of the time.

Rene belongs to St. Paul's Catholic Church, where she is a member of the Ladies Sedality. Her many past-times inlcude sewing, crochet, baking, jigsaw puzzles, SCRABBLE, Yahtzee, Pinochle, Agrravation, and driving all over the countryside. Her absoulte favorite activity is playing in slot machine tournaments on the Riverboat with her friends, Ellen, Barbara & Pat!
