BASSET
HOUND
The
Basset Hound was developed in Britain in the late 1800's. This breed
resulted from crossing a French hunting dog with a Bloodhound. Basset
Hounds were used to hunt rabbits and small game. This dog is a good
tracker with a sweet personality. Basset Hounds are good with children
and need to be exercised regularly.
