TIBETAN
TERRIERS
The Tibetan Terrier
originated in Tibet and resembles an Old English Sheepdog. It is not actually
a terrier. These dogs were first bred in Tibetan monasteries and were given
to travelers as mascots and to bring good luck. Today the Tibetan
Terrier is mostly a companion dog. This breed is good with children,
but wary of strangers. It's long shaggy coat requires lots of attention.
