Au gratin dishes
The sign says " These eggs
plates where originally stored in a wooded cabinet
They fell to the bottom
of the ocean floor when Titanic sank , Over time the cabinet deteriorated
and the plates remained perfectly positioned on the ocean floor
as if they were still stacked in the cabinet. The plates would have been
used to cook and serve egg dishes, pasta and creme bruler dishes, among
other dishes."
These dishes sit in a glass
cabinet with sand. Inside the exhibit there are dishes still in salt water.
