¡El Mundodisco está vivo!

Terry Pratchett continúa escribiendo y escribiendo. El Mundodisco es todo un fenómeno en Inglaterra, donde cada libro es esperado con ansia por miles y miles discadictos.

El Disco sobre Gran A'Tuin

Todo ello ha llevado a la publicación de numeroso material en torno a Mundodisco :mapas, recopilaciones, música, juegos de ordenador, miniaturas...e incluso una maqueta de la Universidad Invisible de Ankh-Morpork, de edición limitada.

Pero no sólo de Mundodisco vive el hombre (o al menos, casi todos los hombres). Pratchett -Pterry, como se le conoce entre sus fans- también ha escrito libros que no son de Mundodisco.

Y ahora, después de tanto rollo, la lista de material del Mundodisco que, por el momento, seguirá creciendo... He puesto el texto de las contraportadas de las novelas que tengo en inglés, y que no han sido publicadas en castellano.

And they need all the help they can get. Because they´ve only got twenty-four hours to clean up the town and this is Ankh-Morpork we´re talking about...

Interesting times

The oldest and most inscrutable empire en the Discworld is in turmoil, brought about by the revolutionary treatise What I did on My Holidays. Workers are uniting, with nothing to loose but their water buffaloes. War (and Clancy) are spreading throughout the ancient cities.

And all that stands in the way of terrible doom for everyone is:

Rincewind the Wizard, who can´t even spell the word 'wizard'...

Cohen the barbarian hero, five foot tall in his surgical sandals, who has had a lifetime´s experience of not dying...

...and a very special butterfly.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON, AS MURDER, MUSIC AND MAYHEM RUN RIOT IN THE NIGHT...

The Opera House, Ankh-Morpork... a huge, rambling building, where innocent young sopranos are lured to their destiny by a strangely-familiar evil mastermind in a hideously-deformed evening dress...

At least, he hopes so. But Granny Weatherwax, Discworld´s most famous witch, is in the audience. And she doesn´t hold with that sort of thing.

So there´s going to be trouble (but nevertheless a good evening´s entertainment with murders you can really hum...
