I was resisting buying 1/4 or mini-sized dolls for a long time, mostly because although I'm making a big effort, I can't buy EVERYTHING. But my Kaye Wiggs Koneko broke that streak, and the flood-gates are now open (to horribly mix metaphors).
MSDs or Minis are very popular now, which is understandable--they come in greater varieties of sizes and shapes and styles, they are a bit less expensive than the larger bjds, and they can be a lot less expensive. Plus, minis are said to be very nice at posing. I was definitely intrigued by the price. Seems amazing to get a doll at around $200 considering the prices I'm used to.
I'm not exactly sure what attracted me to this girl. I was looking at more unusual faceups on the larger-sized girls. When I happened to see this girl, with her large eyes, grey skin and colorful faceup, I was just intrigued. (2013.1)
