Seeing dolls in-person is a risky venture. I tend to fall in love and want them all! I mean, they are RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME. No EMS Shipping costs. So much temptation. *sigh*
So, going to a BJD con like Dollism Plus US 2014, was dangerous. Soom had a booth, but I thought I’d be safe. I already had a ton of Soom dolls and I hadn’t really felt any urge to order the latest batches. But Soom had a few dolls on display. They were dolls that were Sold Out already, but they were offering them as a Con Special… and I have a hard time resisting special deals! The lovely mini mermaids were fantastic, but I was feeling like I had so many dolls already. But a little tiny doll, how bad would that be? Plus, I wouldn’t even have to take him back with me. I would pre-order, on LAYAWAY! It was all good!
Did I also tell you that I have a thing for Frog Princes? Well, I do.
I wasn’t attracted to the Soom Toad before, but in-person, they were just adorable! And the special eyes were just too perfect. I had to get one.
