This is another unplanned dolly addition. I'm not sure what it is, but some sculpts just really capture my interest. This is my second Granado bjd... and both were almost impulse buys. They didn't fit into any plans or groups of dolls or stories. They were both strong characters, even though I had no clue as to who they should be. Basically, I just liked the look of this guy! He's handsome, realistic, and not fantasy at all, which is odd for me.

PURCHASE DATE: ORDER Date: Nov. 26, 2015 (Thanksgiving). LAYAWAY Paid: Feb. 25, 2016. ARRIVAL DATE: April 23, 2016.
CAME WITH: Full doll, facup, elastic, coa, box. Also purchased outfit: black trousers, white tank top, brown belt, black long hoodie, tall black boots, aviator sunglasses with case and cloth.
MODS: blushing on nipples, nails, by me.
Box Opening: Granado Box in shipper (with no padding, but it wasn't dented at all).
Box Opening: Foam padding on top with little holes cut for the toes! Under that--cut-out foam for the doll and items like elastic and sunglasses. Packaged clothing items on top of doll. Brown envelope contained CoA .
Box Opening: Sunglasses came in cute little zip-up case with cleaning cloth!
Box Opening: Head, face-protecter, under it foam wrapping with Grando-printed tape. Unfortunately, there was still some rubbing on the tip of the nose. :( Fortunately, it's not noticeable. I think I can fix it... needs a bit of msc and maybe a touch of pastel... I'll do that later, since I didn't notice it until after this whole picture-taking session and he's all dressed up now.
Box Opening: No random eyes included. Faceup is good. A little lighter than expected, but I like it.
Box Opening: He's got serious nips!
Box Opening: Inexpensive glass eyes, 10mm. There are some gaps, but not noticeable from most angles. I should try and get some small iris eyes. 10mm is smallest size I've ever used for a 1/3 doll.
Box Opening: I got the sunshine skin because I liked the idea of him being tan and with bleached blond hair, sort of like the Official Photos. Granado didn't have the wig they used for sale, so I bought a couple to try out. His head is on the small size... 8/9" is almost too big. I used a 7/8" silicone cap to help keep the wigs on. This wig is a bit too anime...
Box Opening: Wig 2 is a Monique Jojo in blond/brown.
Box Opening: Wig 3, I didn't think would work, but I like it. Fur. Bought 2nd-hand in the DoA Marketplace.

I blushed the nips a bit. Makes him look a bit more realistic. I was thinking he should have very light colored ones, but they didn't show up enough. Full-front..-al...! I wish people weren't so sensitive about showing parts. It's part of the doll and we don't get a chance to view before buying... I was actually a bit surprised at the size and detail of his parts...
It's hard to get the details of his faceup... He has some faint spots on his face, but they are super-light.
I'm really liking the shaggy style of the fur wig. Funny, but I though regular fiber would look more natural than fur, but this is looking pretty good, I think.
He's very photogenic.
Still nakey, to show off that body. Not sure if I should blush it a bit more or not. I hate when it starts wearing off...
I was curious to see what that large body part would do when sitting, but it seems like it's not too bad...
Here's a view of the trousers. Pretty decent fit. A little loose at waist, but suits the style (low slung on hips).
I should show his back! It's a little too bumpy for me, but it works with the rest of his body.
This wig isn't too bad. I think I'll have him wear both... but the fur one has the edge.

He can look sort of mean with his head tipped down.
