I was very taken by Iplehouse SID Eva when she was first released in the Noctarcana Circus line (offered Sept-Oct. 2010), but I had already bought the NC EID Tedros and NC SID Theo, and just couldn't get another so soon. I knew she would be a Basic, and therefore available any time, so I kept putting her off, although she remained on my Wish List. Finally, after five years, and a re-vamp of the offered faceup styles, etc., I figured I should finally get her before Iplehouse might decide to change her again or discontinue her.
She is part of the general story I have for my Iplehouse dolls, starting with Valentin (Tedros), who is the son of an English aristocrat and a gypsy, in a Victorian setting. He travels to India with Catriona (Carina), a relation by marriage, trying to find Raveendra, the son of Valentin's gypsy father, who was in the British Army, and an Indian woman--both of whom were killed in a mutiny. Raven has been living on the streets and is partially being helped by Evangeline, the daughter of another military man.
None of my dolls ever stick to their backstory, and the backstory can change or there can be secondary stories, so not all photos and costumes will be consistent with the main story.
